Our stay at Island Vista Resort was glorious! We were on the 12th floor & had the BEST views! We had easy access to the beach & enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool. The only part that was difficult was the parking lot. Spaces were not wide, area was not well-lit & we ended up scraping our rental car on a wall. This was seriously the only negative part of our stay. We will definitely be back!

The rooms looked old. The beds were comfortable, TV was nice size but the furniture was old and rug was old and dirty looking. Didn't care for ALL the NO smoking signs. That tells me that they have had major issues with people smoking in the rooms. I'm not a smoker but that was a strong indication to me that they had issues in the past.
It was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach, and we absolutely loved our stay at Island Vista. The resort was beautiful, relaxing, and had wonderful views of the ocean. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love the ocean front view! I had a suite, kitchen had salt all over the appliances. Couldn’t use the coffee maker. Looks like it hasn’t been used for a while. Parking is very difficult to park and get out of your vehicle, especially for an elderly person.
Clean room with a great view. My room had a king and queen bed. The living room provided more than enough room for relaxing. Most of all, I needed my bedding changed due to my leaking cooler (don’t put a cooler on a bed) and they changed the entire thing at 5 PM. I was very thankful. I would stay here again.
Great beachfront property; helpful and courteous staff but
the parking was pretty remote from the room, at the opposite end of a lengthy passageway.

The so called ‘luxury’ room was extremely small. In order for two people to get by one another we had to turn sideways. Layout was misconfigured making it awkward to watch tv. No full length mirror. Paid a resort fee and you can’t even get the room cleaned every day. Came to service room on fourth day just because we were staying six nights
Amazing property hidden away in from the craziness that can be Myrtle Beach! Oceanfront itself with all rooms facing the ocean … with balconies to enjoy even more! Will be back soon!!
The room and property was very clean beautiful. It is very nice inside and spacious and they made sure we had a generous amount of guest toiletries as well as extra towels and washcloths to last through our stay. The only thing I didn’t love was the parking. There was a parking deck but the parking was very tight. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. I would definitely come back!!!!
Stayed with my two adults daughters and loved this property. Great full ocean views, but partial like some other properties. Units are very spacious. We'll be back.

The hotel was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay, the property was well maintained and had a beautiful indoor pool. The parking was very convenient and we enjoyed our winter getaway.
There was construction going on from 5- 6:30pm and the front desk pretty much said “tough luck” even though I really needed a nap after a long drive to get there. The place was dirty and run down and the parking g spots are too small.

Good evening! Unfortunately, all of the individually owned condos on the property are allowed to do regular maintenance or construction between 9am and 6pm per the HOA rules and regulations on the property. After your initial call just after 6:10 to let us know that a contractor was still making noise, we absolutely began the process of making sure that the contractor in question was notified and asked to stop his work so as to stop disturbing your stay. Shortly after your second call to the Front Desk at 6:20, that contractor was found, contacted, and stopped his work. While we're sorry this ruined your nap plans, we absolutely did our best to resolve the issue and make sure that the contractor didn't disrupt any more of your stay than they already had. Apologies for the inconvenience this caused to your stay.
THE PROPERTY WAS BY FAR THE BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED AT I LOVE IT.

Average stay. Room had a musty smell. Good size room with nice view of ocean.
They take $150 deposit for 1 night. I asked for receipt at check because we didn't purchase any amenities. However, staff member rudely advised that she could not provide because the hold would not be released until after housekeeping had time to check out the room to make certain there was no damage. Really? If this is the clientele this hotel attracts, i will definitely not stay there again.

Sorry to hear about this happening to you all with your stay. While there is some truth to the conversation they had with you at the Front Desk, there's definitely a better way to deliver that message. The 150 hold that's taken at check-in is meant to cover any damages to the room or property because all of the units are individually owned, and that 150 is meant to protect the homeowners from damages caused by renting through the property. Because of the way that 150 is processed, it does not show up on a receipt. It's just a "pending transaction" for those funds that, when released, will usually be back on your credit card within 24 hours depending on the bank/provider for that credit card.As for the room and the stay, please feel free to let us know next time you aren't happy with your accommodations. We're absolutely here to take care of our guests, and we could have and would have taken care of getting you into a room that you would have been happier with for your stay. Sorry again for your experience, and please feel free to reach out with any further concerns.
Our stay at Island Vista was amazing the staff was excellent.Angle at front desk was extremely helpful when we decided to extend our stay. She also had good recommendations for dining.
