Rooms are clean and spacious. Sliding doors did not lock but our room was up so high, we were not worried about that. Employees were friendly and helpful. Very nice buffet breakfast and evening receptions. Pool is large and has a kids play area and waterslides. Will definitely be back.

Parking is a RIP OFF. Hidden fees they take out after you leave! The coffee was plain, nothing any good near by. I got food poison from nearby shop within the gated community.

The hotel was nice & the staff was incredible. However, when we got to our room, the sheets were dirty (with blood stains and tares). We requested new towels & clean sheets several times and never received them. I had to go to the front desk 3 times, just to get them.

Lots of activities to do right at the resort! We walked the beach every morning after we ate at the complimentary breakfast, followed with a swim in the pool, tennis, appetizers for lunch at the hotel restaurant & dinner at the black drum! All restaurants were fantastic!

Since I got to the property earlier than anticipated my room wasn’t ready yet. So we went to check out the area and came back later. When I came to pick up my the keys to the room the lady at the counter seem a little overwhelmed dealing with all the customers. I asked her a question about the pool hours and it seems to go right over her head. I came back later and got the info from the concierge. Everything else was great.

Hotel is on a unique condo property so one you enter the grounds it’s about a 5 minute drive to the hotel. Many of the properties onsite have access to the one pool, that wasn’t great. Free breakfast is nice but it gets very crowded so it’s tough to find a seat. Room was nice and view was great. All in all I’d probably stay here again.

Poor customer service (outright rude); breakfast areas have some of the worst hygiene and longest lines I have ever seen in my life!….they don’t advertise that their amenities/breakfast areas are shared by those staying in the entire property (and not just the hotel)….. One night, they had work going on (hammer/drills) around 10 pm…..

I absolutely loved the hotel itself. The staff was amazing. The food, the drinks, my kids played in the pools for hours. BUT THERE WERE BABY ROACHES IN OUR ROOM AND THE ROOM WAS NOT FULLY CLEAN. I was really disappointed in this. The resort is too beautiful to have nasty rooms with baby roaches.

The property was nice. View was better than expected. BEWARE!!! Extra $54.87 PER DAY fees added at the hotel compare to Expedia price. So when comparing to other property rates add the extra costs of per day “resort fee” per day parking fee and extra taxes. I might have picked a better place to stay had this been more clear up front.

Check in was 4 pm we were still waiting for "our room" to be ready while others checked in and went up to their room went to desk twice and had to threaten to leave in order to get a room at 4:45. Other than that the property is very nice with nice dining options on site.

This was my second time being at this location for a conference. Each time was great. The beach was clean, the Hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. Only problem was that our group is growing and the conference center would only hold 400. The location is great. Close to shopping and dinning.

First Beach Vacation in 7 Years
Check in was quick and the representative was helpful with recommendations for dinner. However, we were given a suite with 2 queen beds instead of the king on our reservation. By the time, we had our things in the room, I was too tired from our drive to bring it to anyone's attention. The suite was clean and spacious. Ocean view is really nice, but request the pool side for a preferable overall view. Happy Hour was fabulous. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Our omelet maker made the best vegetarian version I have ever eaten. Thanks! Black Drum receives our highest recommendation for their ambiance and dessert menu. Ever had a gourmet Banana Pudding? If not, try theirs. It is impressive. We really enjoyed the board walk which connected the properties. It was lovely to enjoy our daily walk. We had a lovely visit.
