A Wonderful Week
The week was so nice! Carolina Reef is well placed in the area of North Myrtle Beach. The room was immaculate and full of things we needed for the week. I would definitely plan to stay again! The only issue was it seemed the second bedroom got warm and had a hard time cooling. Look forward to a return visit!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had was the air would only turn down to 72 and we got warm in some nights and there is only enough linen for 1 shower. We reused the towels and went to the dollar general and bought enough wash cloths for the stay. Overall, we would stay here again. Just wish we have known about the air only going to 72 beforehand. I know that is a deal breaker for some folks. Owners were very cordial through email and we loved this part of the beach. Not crowded at all any day we were there.

This vacation condo was perfect ! The close proximity to the beach was wonderful. The condo itself had everything you could ever need for a relaxing vacation. The pool and hot tub were easy to get to and everyone staying was so nice! We had a great time and hope to do It all again next year!

I’ll start by saying we loved our stay because of the amazing location right on the beach. I did reach out a few weeks before our visit to set up a day/time to go out in the boat that is offered with the listing but never heard anything back which was disappointing. The boat shouldn’t be offered if it’s not really available. One of the reasons we booked here and were ok with paying more then other listings in the area was because of the boat so we feel like we didn’t get our moneys worth from this place. The condo is the top floor corner unit and away from everyone else which felt very private. There is a video camera on the balcony that is pointed toward the ocean/beach. It felt a little invasive as it could easily record us on the balcony and also records audio. I didn’t like the feeling of being watched every time I was out there but we learned to ignore it. Our first impression was that the building was dated and when you first walk into the condo it has a smell of being a smokers home at one point. It goes away when you are in the condo but it’s there every time you walk out and come back in. The condo itself was clean and had everything we could need for the week. The decor was beautiful and the linens were vibrant and clean. The bed sounded like it was broken every time we sat/laid down but it was super comfortable and we slept well. We cooked and ate our meals at the condo. All the dishes/pans that we could need were provided which was nice. We did run out of trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels so be prepared to provide those when you go. The internet and tvs worked well. There was a closet with a few buckets, shovels, boogie boards, kite and beach games to use. The beach access is right on the property so we could go down and be set up in 5 minutes. It was never busy right in front of our condo but if you looked down either side where the hotels on the beach are it was packed so we were really happy to have a low traffic quieter area. The pool is on the small side but there was always enough space for our family of 4 when we went. The hot tub is amazingly hot and big with jacuzzi bubbles. The condo has a water hose for spraying off the sand from the beach and provides carts to haul your things from your car to the condo which really came in handy for groceries and luggage. There are many stores, restaurants and entertainment near by. Overall we would recommend staying here just be warned about the boat.

First off I wanna start by saying place was very clean when we walked in, very well put together feels like home at the beach. We’re very much thinking about coming back! View was amazing, weather was perfect, and very peaceful. One of the best penthouses I’ve stayed in!

Nice little family Condo just needs a good deep cleaning
The condo was almost exactly what we hoped it would have been. Upon arriving the condo was great. Walking through and checking everything out there was everything you ever need in a condo. But after being there an hour or so our feet were black! There was cleaning supplies in the second bedroom closet so I tried to mop but it was a very old sponge mop that didn’t do anything. So I made our family wear shoes the entire week(Sunday-Sunday). I was nervous because of the dirty floors so I also washed every utensil or pan prior to using. I also cleaned both bathrooms and washed the bedding just so I knew they were clean. I will say that the fridge, oven and microwave were all clean. But If you do laundry be prepared with quarters because the laundry room is $1.50 per load for washer and $1 for dryer. I wished the the listening stated that ahead of time(if it did, I’m sorry I must have no seen that). Other than that we enjoyed our week. Great location, just needs a good deep clean.

Perfect Beach Vacation
This was a great property and location in North Myrtle Beach. Condo was nice, clean, and had all the kitchen essentials to prepare a meal. Beach is nice and not crowded. Lots of great restaurants in the area. We did the beer tour at The Crooked Hammock Brewery. It was a little off beat and a lot of fun! Food was good too. We had a fun night out at Boardwalk Billy's, good food and live music. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

We had a very nice time. We travel to the area yearly for our anniversary and stay at the same complex. Beautiful views of the ocean and awesome sunrises. We also got to see dolphins this year from the balcony.
