"What a beautiful oasis in the Italian countryside! We spend 3 beautiful days here and everything was wonderful. The staff was so attentive and welcoming and the rooms are simply magnificent. Some days the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! We especially loved all the quiet sitting areas around the property, perfect for morning coffee and evening sundowners. The deck was so nice for our meals as well. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area. "

Direct access to the Canterbury to Rome pilgrims' trail which provides a pleasant 90 minute walk to San Gimingano. Superb views in all directions. Be prepared for a steep, winding unmade 3k road to the hotel on arrival. It seems never ending but well worth the effort."
