Toilet not working, i paid for ocean view, and they gave me, pool view, they don’t specify the type of rooms they have, they only mention ocean view and double sea view, but you will end up with pool view. 3 foreign women showed up at the beach topless, showing there breast, no one told them anything, this place is not a nude area, families go with children!!! But after this who knows of families will continue to go, because they were complaining. Other than that the beach is nice and clear, you can swim in it, very salty. Food is not processed food, is cooked in the facility. Is the same thing, but it’s GOOD

Staff are very nice and helpful. Only negative is the linen they refuse to change even when it was dirty. Other than that food is good bar is amazing.

There no entertainment at pool or beach area and pool and beach staff leave at 5pm ..bar area need upgraded drink ..the little entertainment at bar last about 45minutes At it for night . The room are good but to much air conditioner in room and curtain in room need cleaning ...

Property grounds was nice and clean. Bathroom was moldy and rooms mediocre and dirty curtains and vents. Pictures were taken and shown to manager and front desk and complaint sent. Food was okay. Will not go back!!!

I stayed here April 13th-18th with my boyfriend, which was very pleasant! The property was very nice for our price range, but I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for a nicer bathroom. I’m just picky like that. But everything was great, and I would stay here again. The food was phenomenal, and festivals are now my favorite!

The people were very nice. The curtains in the room was not very clean. There was a lot of food to eat. The staff was very nice in the dining area.

This property is not a five star but for the money, its definitely worth it. Where it shines is the staff who are genuine and very hard working which in turn promotes a family vibe.

The beach and pool was beautiful. Scenery was beautiful. I liked that there was two stores right across the street. I didn’t like that the bars opened at 10. Also they didn’t give you enough towels when cleaning the room. Sometimes we didn’t get any towels or toilet paper.

Great location near the airport, good beach. Bedrooms have a breathtaking view of the ocean! You have access to the sister hotel right next to it which we do feel have better personnel. The staff don't seem to like their job! Just asking for a glass of water, it seems like you're bothering them! The line to get a table at a la carte restaurant was hard to get a table.

This resort is great. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to spend their vacation. The receptionists and other staffs are very respectful, polite and kind. The hotel room is very clean and organized. The food is very good and the servers are always willing to assist.

This was second time at Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach, and it was good. I had a great time, the location is perfect for shopping, the night life and the airport is close by. KFC is down the street, Harmony Beach Park is close if you wanna go for a 15 min walk. Great experience. I’m from Mobay so I had no issues with the resort or the area. I’m home when I come here so it’s great.

Some of the staff are very friendly. The food on Monday and Tuesday was really nice. Food could served be a little hotter. Some of the young male staff are a little bit too friendly with the young female guess. My daughters felt a little uncomfortable. I have to be asking for bath toilet most days. Bath mat for the bathroom is always out. Had to call up for bath mat.

Given room before 3 check in due to elderly mother great - however lack of towels for four guess- bedding - iron and other essentials missing we asked on servers l occasions at the desk polite staff but no action taken. Maintainer prompt to check out toiiets etc. Everyone had a stomach upset - food general cold although on the warmer - warmer No on and had to point this out to catering staff. Music at night could be better and finish early. Could be more interesting entertainment on site in the evenings for everyone to enjoy some kind of spanish singing and dancing not typical Jamaican music or dancing. Please do not leave AC on after making beds as mac and condensation then leaves the sheets cold and damp and the floor. This practice is annoying the bed feels damp and spoils what should be a good nights sleep. Most hotels are doing this just leave the rooms we don’t need to enter a freezing cold room on arrival it sucks.

its was an ok stay not the worst but definitely not the best. Check in was ok. Beach chairs definitely being reserved with towels even tho clearly marked with signage that isnt allowed but not inforced at all. So many times no chairs available but empty. Beach next door is Doctors Cave so that was cool.Next was the grill open for most of the day only had burgers hotdogs wings and fries. Literally thats it. Not one piece of fresh fruit and not one vegetable at all. Just those items and who wants that while on beach all day? Especially if you are vegetarian or at least trying to eat healthy. When me and my daughter walked over there, the staff just stares at you doesn’t greet. You doesn’t tell you what’s going on or where to go they just stared at us as if we were inconveniencing them. my daughter finally went back because we were starving and didn’t want to have to leave the resort to grab a snack. She went back to grab french fries in her bikini and was scolded and told to go put clothes on, while they were serving larger woman in front of her that only had her bathing suit on but probably because my daughter is a baddie. needless to say we didn’t get fries that day and did leave the resort to go to Usain Bolt restaurant nextdoor for a salad. Lines to get into dinner for half hour or more while empty tables were available. Self serve for all kinds of meals with napkins and service hard to find. Staff definitely like to scold and redirect more than they like to help.

The beds were hard and pillows were bad, not enough towels, they had no wash towels at all, it's about a 3, 3.5 star hotel, rooms were clean, not a lot of food options but what they had was good and tasty. The front staff was very nice and friendly as well as (Some) of the dinning staff! The beach was wonderful but you need to get up early and claim your beach chairs because they go quick. You have to reserve your restaurant reservations by 9am when they open because they fill up quickly so we never ate at the restaurant. Our taxi guy Sonnie took good care of us, he took us to our yatch, airport, jet ski, and everywhere we wanted and waited until we came back for a little extra cost but it was definitely worth the accommodations, we usually stay at 4,5 star hotels but this was a last minute trip so everything was booked, spring break but this hotel did the trick for us

We really enjoyed our stay - everyone was very friendly and helpful! Great location near the airport and it was fun to walk up and down the Hip Strip!

I’ve stayed here before. While I’d never describe it as conditions as up-to-date, the staff made it worth it. During this trip, the conditions have gone from average to slightly below average. We had a beach towels with holes, the shower was slightly scummy, or bathroom sink had a hole that went cleanly through. The staff weren’t not as attentive as they were the first time my husband and I visited. Because of the vast difference in our experiences, I only assumed that maybe folks were overworked or understaffed. Even some of the familiar faces didn’t appear to have the same energy. The beach use to be lively with energy from staff checking in with people, offering excursions , fun and conversation and that didn’t happen this time. There were some gems though! They were so thoughtful to bring us treats for being a return guest and a kind note. It was a great touch. The bartenders at hammock had amazing energy. I think her name was Diandre (if not I know she worked an afternoon shift when I was there) really made things fun at the bar. The beach was beautiful, well taken care of. Although there always appeared to be a fight for seating, it was so great to sit out there and take in the beach. The massage we got was pretty good and the staff made us really comfortable. I’m unsure if we’d come to this resort a 3rd time. I’d likely read reviews before deciding to return. If the reviews are similar to mine, then it’s definitely a no. I hope there are some improvements !

Royal Decameron Cornwall Pros: *Welcome drink at check in *Buffet staff walked me through the buffet to discuss what I could eat (celiac) *Air conditioning in room works well, no smell, room clean *sister property right next store *no selling on the beach so you aren’t getting harassed to buy *coffee is delicious, has library *beach area is nice, water is very calm/clean, clear blue, spot for snorkeling, water shoes wouldn’t hurt as there are some large chunks of rocks, etc. but we did fine without *large water in the room, get refills at the bars, bring your own cup *we enjoyed both sit down restaurants *we loved how small the resort is *10 minutes from airport *sit down restaurants were casual *lobby entertainment was pretty good; guy that sang Tina Turner/Rod Stewart had a great voice, great saxophone player, great violinist *check out process was speedy; 2 minutes Cons: *The check in process is not efficient, I would estimate we were there at least 40 minutes with no one in line in front of us *must stand in line everyday at 8:30 to try to get reservations at 1 of 2 restaurants, we were 10th in line and could not get a reservation the 1st day, they start taking reservations at 9am for that day only, there are 3 dinner seatings at 6:30/7:30/8:30 and they might seat 13 people per *Everything in short supply; they were sharing pens at the front desk, plates ran out at buffet, the beds only have a light sheet, no comforter, we just reused pool towels several days so we

The beach was the best thing about the property. The hotel is poorly maintained. There is a serious issue with maintenance and housekeeping that needs urgent attention. After changing rooms two times. we were tired of complaining. The bathroom was filled with dirt, grime and mold. I had to take pictures because i just could not believe this. The shower stall was very slippery and has no grab bar for safety. We actually had to go to the store and buy bleach, disinfectant and soap to scour the shower stalk so we could show without worrying about slipping. You have flush the toi l et multiple times before it will flush or use the garbage bin and catch water st the faucet and pour in the toilet for it to flush. News paper was our mat in the bathroom because when we ask for bathroom mat to step on after showering housekeeping had none. We also had to use the newspaer to dry up the water on the floor due to the shower stall needing to be re seal by whether silicone or something else. The room area has no bedside sise mat and the floor of the room is tiled. The floor was very cold in the mornings. The bed frames are covered with dirt and the housekeeper never cleaned it. Only the bed was made up in the room nothing else was cleaned. The drapes in the room is a major disgrace. They are completely covered with holes and black mold. I just wonder if these rooms are inspected by anyone. The balcony door had no lock, we had to call front desk two times to fix the issue.
