“The overall experience was great. The staff is friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the food served at Aqua, which is why I was disappointed at the food quality from Carnivorous. The food was served luke warm at best and the meats did not meet the standards one would expect from a reservations only establishment. Maybe you should take a cue from the food consumption and wastage on a night by night basis at Carnivorous.”

The breakfast is good and the restaurant part serve good food. The view on the beach from the pool is beautiful. I highly recommend this place to whoever want to go in Zanzibar. ”

“We were a group of 7 adults / 4 rooms. The entire hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. Our rooms were on the ground level. We knew that the rooms do not have air conditioning, but the heat of the rooms surprised us. The sea breeze doesn't get to cool the downstairs rooms, so sweat flowed every night :-). The rooms were clean, but the water and drainage issues were not completely in order. During the week, all rooms needed maintenance. Some things were taken care of quickly, some needed……

“Extremly isolated. No possibility to eat outside (without Taxi). Daily power cuts, some of which lasted a long time. No air conditioning and no WLAN during this time. Bar and restaurant also affected. The staff are very keen to maintain European standards, but are overzealous. Every plate is cleared away in a hurry, regardless of whether your partner is still eating or whether you want to keep your plate to have a snack. Hotel pool was not cleaned separately in the morning. As a result, there……

Ma femme est tombé malade pendant le séjour, et ils ont fait venir un médecin dans la journée , qui suite à l'explication des symptômes par téléphone et la consultation, avait déjà les médicaments avec lui. Ensuite mon véhicule de location est tombé en panne de batterie . Le personnel de l’hôtel est venu avec des fil et une autre batterie et ils m'ont permis gratuitement de recharger ma batterie . “We had a good time at Zanoceanique. It's a complex of rooms/apartments in a multi-story building, very spacious and well-equipped (air conditioning, wifi, refrigerator, an excellent safe). The building and furnishings appear somewhat dated (some handles don't work, some doors don't close properly), but the essential things all work well. The sea is just a few steps from the entrance, and there's a well-maintained garden with a pool inside. The food at the restaurant is excellent and reasonably……

“Detta boendet kan vi varmt rekommendera! Underbart läge och mycket fin service. Stranden är jättefin och superfint att bada vid högvatten. Poolområdet med tre pooler och också väldigt fint, även där finns det sand. Hotellpersonalen är helt fantastisk och maten är kanon! Det finns inte mycket att göra runtomkring men möjlighet till utflykter är mycket bra. Vi har faktiskt ingenting att klaga på.”
