House was perfect for our stay. Close to my conference on the Sandestin property. The 2 golf carts were a definite bonus, allowing our group to go to the beach, shopping & restaurants without ever using our car.

Great property! Having access to 2 golf carts was essential to a great stay with our 5 children with ages ranging from 15-23. Wonderful beach! And a nice range of beach chairs, floaties and an umbrella. It was extremely nice and convenient to have a bathroom for each bedroom. We used the grill and fire pit in the evenings. Lots of activities! Our favorite was pickle ball

Nice stay but had a couple of issues
Got a call the day of check in that the 6 seater golf cart had to be taken to shop for repairs and they would send over a loaner 4 seater. One of the main reasons we booked this house was that 6 seater golf cart. We arrived and the door code would not work. Had to call and go through process of getting another code. We made due with the old run down loaner cart they gave us. No discount was offered for this inconvenience. Someone showed up knocking on the door on our last full day and said he was there to pick up the loaner cart. I was like uhhh we don’t check out until tomorrow morning and we need both carts for activities later that day. Got a call later that same day asking when we could give up the cart. They should have more than one loaner cart on hand. Very annoyed to have this same convo again. Had a couple of live roaches and several dead bugs throughout. Overall we had a nice stay but very disappointed about the golf cart situation.

Rough start but good vacation
Our check in code didn’t work. We called and got a new code but they said they couldn’t update the code in the app. We had a dead cockroach on arrival and three more live large very disturbing cockroaches during our stay. The rental company didn’t respond for days regarding the cockroach concern and even then just asked if we wanted them to come spray. Lots of dishes, many are chipped. Golf carts were great but the sticker didn’t work to put up the golf cart gate at the Grand Blvd, so we just went around through the vehicle gates. Beach chairs and toys were lovely. The pool is NOT heated and was freezing for late March. Nice location to the wharf. Overall we had a nice vacation, and will return to Sandestin, but will choose a different villa.

Nice house and great location
We really enjoy coming to Sandestin, it’s a great resort for all ages! The house had a nice set up with 2 master suites plus a bunk room. We enjoyed using the golf carts and beach items.

The house is in the good neighborhood, as described. My only complaint was the communication of the team regarding to one of the golf cart broken down during our first day of the trip. They did not give me any update since we reported the golf cart is not functioning. The 2 golf carts was the selling point and the reason we rented the house, however, one was broken on the first day and the other did not charge until the 3rd day. We only the one golf cart the whole trip which kind of taken all the fun out of our group.

Great Family Vacation
We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. We had 7 adults and an infant and had plenty of room. The golf carts were great and we loved driving them to the beach and the Wharf. The beach closet was full of chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and toys. The location was perfect with lots of restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and shops nearby. We will definitely be back! Thank you My Vacation Haven!!

Awesome stay
This was our first time to this area we normally go to PCB I’m so glad we decided to try something different this year and We love it here will definitely be coming back the area is very laid back. Never have to move your vehicle with the 2 golf carts can drive them all around. Safe area for kids to get out and play! Would recommend this place to anyone! Super clean also I don’t have not one bad thing to say about staying here!!

This is the fifth year that our family has stayed in Sandestin. This was definitely the nicest home - beautiful and comfortable But, it was a loud neighborhood that was very crowded and didn't lend itself to a calm, relaxing vacation. As much as we loved the house, we would pick a different one next time.

Everything about the house was great! Only thing that needs attention is the parking brake on the silver golf cart. It does not work, so you just have to be careful that you do not park on any kind of incline. Other than that the place and our stay was fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Lago. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful stay. Having two golf carts is a nice addition. The location to Baytown is very close and the neighborhood is great for kids to play outside. We will definitely be back

The house was nice, loved our stay. The only thing I recommend changing is, pillow top mattresses for both king beds. The beds in both bedrooms were a little hard. The location was wonderful, the kids loved riding the golf carts everywhere.

Annual Family Vacation
This is the 4th home we’ve rented in Villa Lago and it was the best one thus far. The home was just as the pictures shown in the listing. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others. Although we enjoyed our stay, there are a few things that needed immediate attention. The sofa/sofa bed in the family room needs to be replaced as the cushions are worn out, and it feels like you’re sitting very low. The middle cushion is so worn that it dips down in the middle. The springs in the sofa bed are severely worn and doesn’t allow for anyone to actually sleep on it. The sofa is terribly worn out and needs to be replaced ASAP. There were also many stains (badly soiled) on the comforters on the beds once we arrived. We had to call to get the comforters replaced with clean ones. We also had to get clean linen for the master bed as there were stains on the sheets as well. It made us feel as if they didn’t change the linen on any of the beds as we were new guests arriving. All of this should have been replaced/cleaned before we arrived as it was an inconvenience. Once we called to complain, they sent someone very quickly with the clean linen and comforters. We totally enjoyed having 2 golf carts, but the 6 seater golf cart needed some work done on it as it pulls to one side when you drive it. Someone came to look at it and agreed, but wanted to take it for the week for repairs, but we just kept it to avoid having to drive our car so much. Hopefully the repairs get made on it. Overall, it was a beautiful home, nicely decorated, and comfortable for my family of 5. I would definitely rent this home again.

Absolutely loved this property! It was very roomy and in a great location.
We are from Texas and this was our second trip to the Sandestin Golf resort. We traveled with a another family and had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this property. The golf carts and beach accessories made everything so simple. The pool was within walking distance and well kept. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable. I loved the kitchen and living room set up with the open floor plan and the bedrooms upstairs were a perfect fit for everyone. When we had run out of propane for the grill the communication with the property manager was a call away. The propane tank was replace while we were out and a note left on the door saying sorry for the inconvenience. Amazing stay we will definitely be coming back next year!
