"We needed a place for several family members to stay while attending a wedding and Eagle's Refuge was just right. The four bedroom-four bath arrangement worked perfectly for us, along with generous family gathering space. The grill and outdoor furniture in the back yard were a welcome bonus and used during our stay. "Historic house which was really cool. But that also means old. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Neighborhood is turning over so lots of upgrading of homes nearby. Walking distance to coffee house and downtown. Really cool little town."

"Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....
