This property is highly unique. I travel quite a bit and have never had the pleasure of staying in a pimped-out treehouse. It awakened the little boy in me. I wished there were more of these around the country. The design and layout of the property, along with the decoration, are exquisite. The staff is filled with Southern hospitality. The check-in team was accommodating and knowledgeable about places to eat and visit. The shopping and selection of items are as unique as the resort itself. In short, I would return to Memphis to stay here. The downside is that there is no other development around the property; it is a stand-alone attraction. However, with the observation deck, one could argue it may not need anything else. The restaurant was underwhelming, and the floor was sticky. As a result, I chose not to eat there, so I could not comment on the food. I give this property 9.3 out of 10 stars.

Very cool experience to stay in the Memphis pyramid. Rooms were rustic. Ours looked out over the “swamp” area of Bass Pro Shop, which was great. A few things to drop from 5 to 4 stars: Mandatory resort fee and $20 overnight parking fee. Dont think these were fully disclosed. Staffing was light at bars and restaurants leading to long waits The sales tax is obnoxious. There is a tax in excess of TN state sales tax. Again, not disclosed. Indoor rooms can get loud.

If you have mobility issues only come here to look at the exhibits. Lots to see. I am handicapped and spending the night was a nightmare. The beds were horrible. Had to climb in and out which I couldn’t do by myself so my daughter had to wake up every time I needed to get up. I finally sat in a chair until morning. Neither of us got sleep. It was an expensive nightmare. Everything considered the food options were few and uninspiring but the staff was nice.

Pricey but we loved staying at the lodge, enjoyed the Bass Pro Shop, the elevator to the top of the pyramid and dinner and drinks at the top.

Pros: shuttle driver was very polite, beautiful simple room, great views at the top of the pyramid, Mississippi terrace on the 3rd floor was relaxing Cons: not many food options at night

We enjoyed our stay. The girl taking pictures at the lookout was very pushy and showed poor taste. She kept coming up and interfering with our professional photo shoot. I had called a month in advance to get permission to do a vow renewal up there. All in all we had an amazing time. She just kept interrupting our special moment.

It was a great experience worth the cost. Enjoyed the observatikn decks and views. The lodge was warm and rich looking but rustic. The room was already set for cool and well on its way when we arrived. Nice hot tub after a lobgbday of motorcycling. Enjoyed the balcony overlooking Bass Pro at night while drinking my coffee.

We did not leave the property. We brought our children and stayed one night in the Fly Fishing Lodge. We enjoyed the space in the room and loved the deck area for just hanging out, though it was very dimly lit and difficult to see to play a game or anything out there. Our only complaint is the lack of food options available after 7 pm a Sunday evening. We finally were able to order room service and it worked out fine, but it took a bit to navigate the process and get the food ordered. Overall, I recommend staying here. It is quite a fun experience for kids!

The lodge is an awesome place to stay! From the shower to jets in the tub! Oh and that balcony tops it off! The massive beams thru out are eye catching! Only thing we had an issue with is one of the sinks in bathroom was slow draining. Not a game changer!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had while traveling. It was so bad, my family and I packed up and left in the middle of the night. I will start with the 4:00 PM check in time, that is ridiculously late in the day to check into a hotel. We tried to check in at 2:00 and they told us our room is almost ready and they will call us when it is ready, we never got a call. We waited until 4:00 PM, check in desk was very professional. The facility was clean and beautiful. We loved the atmosphere and the room was very clean. However, we booked that room because of the 24 hour gym access, which the check in desk confirmed it was 24 hours. However, when we tried to enter the gym around 3:00 AM, it would not allow us access, we tried three different room keys. Room service was an absolute joke. I tried to order two pizzas and they told me I would need to go to the restaurant downstairs and get it myself. That is fine, I had no problem doing that. However, once I ordered, we waited for over an hour. I went back and looked into the kitchen and most everyone was standing around on their cell phones. I asked for the manager and told her they refused us room service and we have been waiting for two pizzas for over an hour. She did apologize and offered us free breakfast for the next day. The cable reception in our room was terrible so we were not even able to watch television at all. I have to say each person we dealt with was great. They were just severely understaffed.

Very fun decor and location. Waited 1.5 hours for our food order. All restaurants closed at 7pm and only 1 poor girl on duty for bar food and room service during spring break! Tried to talk to manager at check out. They seemed to have plenty of time to shoot the breeze with 2 employees, but never came out of his/her office to talk to me. Had to leave to make my appointment.

Love the atmosphere…. The view is awesome. Room makes us comeback every time. Only negative this time was it was a little loud once everything was closed. There were kids running around in the hall.
