Positives: There’s not much to fault with the Eden Hotel to be honest. The amenities in and around the hotel are extremely diverse, which provides you with a great variety of things to do, restaurants/bars to eat and drink in etc… with a supermarket near the main entrance also.
It’s location is pretty much central to the bay, so is ideal for getting about either direction and is literally a stones throw from the long white sandy beach. The pool area is well maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant itself is fantastic with a great range of delicacies within every course…coupled with fantastic service. The rooftop bar has a relaxing, chilled vibe also, which is perfect for a drink or two at the end of an evening.
Only Negative: After making a request at the Reception desk on 3 separate occasions over 2 days to the same person. They sadly failed to follow through with organising a transfer for my wife from the airport to the hotel. She unfortunately had to arrive in the early hours in the morning a couple of days later than myself. Each time I enquired I was told to come back later. After the third attempt, I gave in and we decided that she would just need to get a taxi, although a hotel transfer would’ve been safer at that hour in the morning. That was the only disappointment of the stay….other than that, it was great!
Suggestion: Get the “EDEN” sign lit up in bright yellow at night! Would look fab from anywhere across the bay!
