They cleaned the side walk but stoped right be fore the car park where you park your car literally five more feet . And there is literally a spot where the homeless use number two right there .

I really like the room and its size with all the facilities in it. However for the 3 nights i was there, we didnt have wifi for 2 full days. I wish hotel had a back up for next time as it made it difficult to catch up with work and connect back home. We were travelling from India and got very inconvenient to not have internet connection. Oven was faulty, didnot work. Maintainance guys checked on it but it wasnt resolved during our stay. House keeping was irregular, we had it one day and no housekeeping the 2nd day.. even after i had asked at the reception the 2nd day that we need extra towels, we were 4 of us but had only 2 towels in the room.. when we came back at around 9:30pm, no house keeping was done that day and no towels were kept. Also, i would suggest that there is some videos or instruction manual for the guests to know how the appliances work. Not everyone has the same brands back home and it becomes very difficult to figure out then and there.

We understand how important reliable internet is, especially when traveling from abroad, and we're working on a backup solution to prevent future disruptions. The only reason I’m leaving a 4 star review is because the wifi was down for my entire stay. Having WiFi down for that long in this day is pretty unheard of and shocking that it took that long to get back up and running. It is an inconvenience to not have access to wifi or the tv when that is an amenity you pay for with the stay.

One of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed. It included a washer dryer, dishwasher in full kitchen, dining area, seating, bed. Seemed like home, a place you could stay for a long time. Really welcoming and more builtin storage than in my house. I will look for Sonder in other locations.

I didn’t like that you needed a code to get into everything and that you had to walk to another hotel just to use the gym and then they wouldn’t let me in cuz my code was not working and gave me a hard time at the other hotel when I wanted to use the gym

The hotel was clean and the staff were all very nice. The room was big with a full kitchen. I would definitely recommend staying. There is some street noise but they provide earplugs for you and they work perfectly.

It's essentially a studio apartment. Minimalist design, well appointed, dimmable lighting, rain shower. Amazing appliances - would be perfect for an extended stay. Easy to check-in/out & communicate w/staff thru app. Nearby paid parking lots. In downtown, so there are city sounds round the clock. They furnish ear plugs! The best part - there are so many plugs! You won't be searching behind things trying to find hidden outlets.

We had the 2 bedroom apartment with city view for 8 nights. Amazing. We are a familly of four adults so having 2 bedrooms, kitchen, washer, and dryer were very convenient. You can ask them for a microwave. Apartment was spacious and very nice decor. Bed, pillows, and duvet covers were very pleasant. The only bad thing was the noise, but you are in Downtown LA so it is inevitable. Sonders gives you ear plugs and a noise machine to help. We would definitely stay there again. We walked so much because location was not far from everything. Be aware of your surroundings since you are in DTLA especially at night. Also, staff is friendly and the Sonder app was easy to use. There's an Apple store (beautiful building), liquor store (open til 2:00am), Starbucks, Shake Shack (must try), and Dunkin Donuts on the same street. Loved that. There is a small 24hr parking lot exaclty behind the buiding at 805 S. Spring St $30 overnight until 10:00am. I would go pay again every morning at 10am. for overnight parking. There is an app too, but I did not use it. If the parking is full, not sure where there is another 24hr parking nearby. You should look into it just in case you do not find behind the Craftsman at night when you return to apartment. Joe's Auto parks next door is not 24hrs.

The room was very nice and clean. The area is terrifying! There were too many homeless, and there was no parking. I had to park in an open lot and didn’t feel safe. Also, I got a room with a view of an alley and the garbage truck picked up the trash at 6 am every day. Plus there is allot of noise co ing from the upper floors from moving chairs.

Great stay! Slept on pull out sofa and it was actually very comfy. Clean and staff was amazing. Across the street from Kreation which had amazing organic coffee and snacks. What a treat!

This hotel is so noisy. The other room had a big party all night. The concierge didn’t even check the room. Also, the noise from outside was so bad too. The hotel put the ear plugs for the customers. It means that it will be so noisy. and they didn’t even clean our room everyday.

We stayed by the elevator and the echo of people just walking was so bad, let alone their conversations. It was like they were sitting next to me yelling. I just would never stay again because of this and I love the Sonder brand. You also need to do 2 things right away. Put felts under your chairs as there were constant screeching sounds from various apartments that echoed. And a door liner as at the bottom of the door there is 1/2 space for noise to travel. You staff member said you were doing one hotel at a time. The felts can be done by the housekeepers. I left exhausted.

This was a very cute and affordable stay but it's more like a slightly managed bnb than a hotel. They tell you where the extra TP, coffee and towels are, they chat instead of answering calls at the front desk. When they say it's a different kind of stay, that is true. Getting home late after work events, it could have been nice to have some kind of mini bar like in normal hotels. But really it was fine and cute and really affordable so it's fine.
