Yo había alquilado lo que se considera una habitación independiente, pero al llegar me di cuenta que era compartida. Está poco aseado y huele mal. Le falta mucho mantenimiento

El hostel no esta mal pero hay algunas cosas basicas que deberian mejorar como el colchon de la habitacion con baño privado que esta totalmente deformado, te hundes y te clavas los muelles. Hay un buen tramo de escaleras que hacen incomoda la subida con maletas ya que jo hay ascensor y mucho ruido hasta las 2 de la mañana por la discoteca que hay justo debajo. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar y en la mejor ubicacion de venice beach pero el parking de pago es carisimo 50€/dia o 20€ solo la noche de 11pm a 11am

Llegamos y el recepcionista no encontraba la reserva, tardó más de 10min y luego tuvo que subir 2 veces a chequear si la habitación estaba lista, luego de toda esa espera, subimos a la habitación y la llave no funcionaba, bajé y al parecer me había dado la llave equivocada. El edificio es muy antiguo, está bien ubicado cerca de restaurantes y markets

El mejor hostal en el que he estado, con una ubicación privilegiada en Venice Beach, puedes caminar a cualquier zona sin problemas. La habitación individual tiene gran confort. Aún cuando el baño es compartido, cuenta con su propio lavamanos. La cama es muy cómoda e incluso la TV tiene satélite mucho más completo que otros hoteles. También el wifi es de estupenda calidad. Algo importante es que puedes guardar equipaje que no pienses usar, para solo tener una mochila en tu habitación compartida o si llegas antes del check in. Finalmente el ambiente en general de lugar es muy bueno. Definitivamente regresaría.

Decepción con la reserva
Reservé una habitación con baño privado y me dieron una habitación sólo con lavabo, sin wc y sin ducha. Cuando traté de que arreglaran mi error al llegar, me dijeron que estaban completos y que no podían ayudarme. He pagado por una habitación con baño privado y me han dado otra, sin ni siquiera haberme descontado lo que he pagado de más. Bastante decepcionado, sobre todo con Hotels.com. El servicio de las personas que atienden en el lugar es amable, el desayuno regular pero al menos sí lo incluyen aunque tengas tú mismo que fregar los platos y utensilios que utilices.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the feedback. As explained at check in, the room that you booked was not a private ensuite, you booked our private room shared bathroom that was ADA accessible. As that was the original room booked it was the room we had for you upon arrival, and unfortunately did not have any of the other room types. We understand your disappointment, and had there been a room we could have upgraded you to we would have gladly done so, however, we only had the room type you booked, not the room type you wanted. Todo muy bien salvo por la limpieza y el ruido, los demás huespedes son muy ruidosos y no se podía dormir muy bien. Les faltaba un poco de limpieza, pero todo el staff es muy amable.

Pésimo
Sitiación aceptable para visitar Venice beach. La habitación privada con baño es pequeña, incómoda y sucia: cama blanda, ni una pastilla de jabón en el baño, sábanas con manchas y temperatura de la habitación que no puede controlarse (dormimos con tres mantas en pleno Septiembre). El personal joven y sin ninguna capacidad para resolver problemas o prestar la mínima atención. En resumen: tal vez sea una opción si duermen en dormitorio comunitario, compartes baño y pagas poquísimo, más allá de eso, es un engaño de alojamiento.

One night out
It was good. We arrived early, the front desk person told us, the room was ready, but when we went in the room, the room was not ready. I walked to the hall and talked to the cleaning lady, who graciously came and did the room. There is no parking, so unless you want to pay 40.00 if not you need to try to find on nearby lots. No AC but the fans worked in the winter.

Excelente estancia en el hostel
Con un precio tan economico no esperaba mucho. Pero me sorprendi por las condiciones del lugar. En el cuarto hay un baño privado muy limpio con agua caliente 24 horas. Ofrecen huevitos hervidos, pancakes y pan tostado en el desayuno. Todo estuvo tranquilo. No borrachos ni personas adrogadas. Lo unico q se puede quejar es la distancia, pero la parada de autobus queda cerquita

Yeah, it was alright
After 2.5 months traveling through Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and LA&SF this was my last stop. It was a good enough hostel - it was clean, had a fantastic location, good for meeting people, the staff didn't have much work to do and were friendly. But 1. It was really expensive and 2. The internet was dreadful - worse than Mexico! The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but that's ok, and the hot water ran out pretty quickly which also wasn't the end of the world for me but, overall, you don't have that much choice in LA so... Yeah.

Sadly the pictures don't match with what I got, I had DRY BLOOD on my sheets, very bad isolation on the rooms, no ladder to get up on the bed so if you're tiny good luck getting up there. Very disappointed. There are 2 types of hostels; and even if the location is absolutely perfect, I can't say this is a good one. Pretty expensive for what you get, save yourself sometimes and look elsewhere !

Place was amazing! great staff they maintained a safe environment while makeing everyone feel comfortable and welcome! A few people usually meet up at lounge area and go do activities together definitely a great place to meet friends and members of opposite sex. I had an amazing time and left with new amazing friends! Fresh breakfast every morning! Best hostle experience by far!

I really like coming here. It's a bit off beat, which makes it relaxing to me, people being able to be themselves. And of course, the location right by the water is wonderful! Beautiful sunsets and strolls on Venice Beach Walk ...
