Older hotels aren't everyone's cup of tea. Like most older hotels it could use a few upgrades, but it was extremely clean, dining and theme park were very convenient, and I felt safe. The staff were wonderfully attentive and kind. I would definitely visit again!

The attendant at the desk was wonderful. He was very personable willing to help. He guided us on different options to do while we stayed there. When I asked how far of a walk universal studio was he pulled up Google Maps and walked me through. He advised us to take the shuttle, which was on the way to universal studios.

Reasonably priced and within walking distance of Universal Studios. Property met or exceeded expectations for sure! They were willing to work with my 18-year-old child who was there for spring break with friends. Very accommodating and understanding and very much appreciated.

Customer service and free coffee was a huge plus here! It's located conveniently between gas, sights, food, and public transportation! We didn't have hot water for one day of our visit, but no complaints otherwise!

Parking was small, person at desk was rude about how we were parking (we were not done parking yet and he mentioned that we need to make sure our vehicle was all the way in the lines) my vehicle is a ford explorer xlt and barely fit in the lines. Room was so small for a family 2 queen room, felt like a closet. Shower looked dirty, and needs upgraded, did not take a shower but if I did would definitely wear flip flops . Bed and pillows were hard. Toilet ran for a while after each flush. Could hear walking, moving furniture, etc from room above us. One of the beds was right up against the wall which made it very uncomfortable to sleep as I hit the wall with my hand a couple times as I slept. There was exposed wires from the wall next to the other bed. The phone in room was not plugged in, the cord for the phone and the alarm clock were too tangled together. Air conditioner did not work right. Do not recommend staying here.

Small but has everything u need
This is a very small but quaint hotel. We were in town for only night. Parking is very limited so beware. The room is pretty small but had everything we needed & it smelled very clean. Bed and pillows were a lil stiff but ok for the night. AC worked well & so did the water pressure. It was close to a store, places to eat & a gas station. Its on a busy street so you can hear cars at night so keep that in mind. More importantly it was close to Universal Studios. I wish i had gotten the name of the guy checking us in. He was super nice & even told us we could park across the street for free & take a shuttle to the park & avoid the $35 parking fee. If you do , go under the bridge & look up and you’ll see the walkway. Get to that, cross over the busy freeway and right there is usually a few people standing there waiting for the tram. Like i said, totally free.
