I was disappointed in the overall upkeep and experience of the hotel. There were holes in areas of the walls, chipping paint, and exposed wiring throughout the common spaces. The bell hop/luggage guy was rude to my husband regarding us carrying our own luggage upon arrival. The fire alarm was going off on the 7th floor for about 20 minutes, leaving us both with ringing in our ears. When I called to the front desk to ask if we should evacuate the building, I was told to hang on and that someone would call me back. After 30 minutes, we were told it was a false alarm. When I asked about purchasing medication for a headache related to the ringing, i was told the hotel did not supply nor sell NSAIDs, but that I could "doordash some from CVS or WalGreens". We booked this location because of the Biltmore name and were hoping for a better experience considering the price. Also, $50.00/night to park in the attached garage with hotel guest parking not available until the 9th floor is pretty ridiculous. We won't be back, but hopefully this review will shed some insight for others.

A combination of new world conveniences with 1920s charm are found on the premises and in your room. Enjoy the opportunity to stay in a piece of LA entertainment history. The room, bathroom and closet were larger than I expected. The television was updated and furniture was modern offsetting the older setting. The only downsides was that all onsite food options were expensive and more staff at the front desk was needed. $22 for a piece of cake is ridiculous. We found better price options for breakfast nearby at Marie’s and Pichones.

Great historic property, with many beautiful ballrooms. Explore the hotel, and definitely stop by to see the original pool in the gym. Excellent staff, with an attention to detail. Enjoy afternoon tea on Saturdays and we enjoyed the food at the bar. Being in downtown LA, the outside area isn't great, but they have fantastic security that keeps everything very safe in the hotel. Our only negative was the electronic dance music (EDM) concert happening in Pershing Square that was very loud. Fortunately, it ended by 11PM. We will definitely stay here again.

Parking situation is absolutely terrible . if you are not using valet , you have to drive in an upward circle for nearly 8 levels . The hotel does not allow any guests to park below the 8th level unless using there valet service . To top it off the hotel charges over 50.00 a day to use there garage for parking, making you feel unappreciated and ripped off . There is no food for room service accept a hole in the wall deli located in the lobby . I would not recommend . After the hotel slams you with parking , the rates are not worth the stay . much better options in the area from a cost perspective .

I’m disappointed about the lack of customer service by the woman who checked me in. She was not friendly and put me in a room that smelled and it was overlooking a roof with a noisy AC unit. I came back down to the lobby to switch rooms and had better service by someone else. It was just odd that she offered other people directions about WiFi access, directions to the elevator and a welcome water bottle to them, but not me. Just not a good experience for me.

The staff was very nice, the historic details were really cool to see, the room was beautiful and in great condition! Our only complaint was that we couldn’t use the jacuzzi or steam room because they were out of order. The pool was so nice!!
