Very nice hotel with bright open rooms and super friendly staff. We were there during a rail strike and they helped us get it sorted out with alternate train line recommendations. Nice breakfast and the dinner was deliscious.

Some ways great, some ways not so. Location and area are excellent for central London. Staff are helpful and polite, rooms and facilities are clean and modern. Downside is rooms, while efficient are cramped. Everything is tight and little storage. Lobby of hotel is like an Internet cafe, so many laptops and people working in there all day it was at times difficult as a guest, to find a seat. Breakfast eggs were oily and sausages dry, so didn’t explore the menu after that as it was off putting. But overall a great stay.

I had previously stayed at the Hoxton in Brooklyn, so I was so happy to see it was available in London for my vacation. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and quickly moved to the room. Both my room and the lobby were beautifully decorated. Lovely touches to the decor, like an antique radio in my room. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Room was quiet and I slept well. Very close to tourist sites like Covent Garden, the theatre and The British Museum. Food was delicious, bar service was attentive. I’d return in a heartbeat. Two things to consider - 1) pay attention to the size of your room. The shoebox and snug options are quite small, and I paid for an upgrade after coming from another hotel whose rooms were small. 2) The lobby is a very popular spot for locals. It’s not bad or noisy, just always busy. You’ll still get good service.

Great location and great staff. Room was set up oddly especially the bathroom that lacked space to put things and did not have a shower door. Lovely lobby and waitstaff but way too many outsiders freeloading off the free Wi-Fi giving it more of a Starbucks vibe instead of a hotel vibe making it difficult for paying hotel guests to get a seat when there were so many freeloaders there. Lovely place with a lot of potential; make Wi-Fi for guests only and add a shelf and shower door and it will be perfect.

The Hoxton Holborn was perfect for our family stay. The staff was super friendly, all the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a very young vibe with lots of people in the lobby. We had the cozy room so it was small but very clean and comfortable. Area is very central with many restaurants around and public transportation

I regretted my decision to stay here despite having read other reviews beforehand. Upon arrival, the lobby was crowded with people, and it wasn't clear if they were guests or just visitors using the facilities. This lack of distinction felt unsettling, as it seemed anyone could easily access the rooms. The front desk attendant appeared overwhelmed, handling what seemed like an excessive number of guests single-handedly. Throughout the hotel, the lighting was insufficient, creating an uncomfortable ambiance. The corridors leading to the rooms, equipped with motion sensor lights, felt dim and reminiscent of a prison. Additionally, the constant sound of water running through exposed pipes outside our room was disruptive. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families, as the experience was far from child-friendly. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were so inadequate that I'm still experiencing neck pain two weeks later. Considering these factors, I was surprised to see this establishment labeled as a five-star hotel on Expedia. Save yourself the trouble and opt for alternative accommodations. This place falls short of expectations, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it.

great location, walking distance from Euston, Covent Garden and the strand. Spotless. We stayed in a Cosy room and we were surprised how good the size was. Really nice interior design and modern. Great coffee. Couldn’t ask for more!

My partner and I stayed here because I have a long term health condition that makes walking difficult and I get tired easily so needed somewhere to stay close to the theatre. I had a stick on this occasion so was visibly impaired. At 8.30am I couldn't find any small food items to help take medication even though there's muffins and croissants on the room service menu. The hotels coffee bar was closed so I made my way down to the other bar which also looked closed/setting up. After I got back to reception I was told the food was all down at the bar/restaurant so I walked back down to it and it definitely looked closed or only available for sit down food. After I yet again made my way back to reception, they just repeated that food was at the restaurant and I was offered a bag of crisps. I was left confused, and saddened. I got back to the room and we decided to try room service instead. After waiting 45 minutes for 2 muffins, we called to cancel and get a refund because we had to go to our actual breakfast reservation, only to be told that we had to contact the restaurant by email because obviously the restaurant within the hotel, contacted on a hotel room phone, is operated entirely separately from the hotel. Luckily we had a reservation across the road at the pancake house and they were so friendly that our day was saved.

Sense of calm
There was chill out music playing on the Robert’s radio on arrival in our room and from that moment the scene was set for our stay. The hotel had a very chilled out vibe in all areas especially the bar and restaurant area. I’m sure it’s not as easy as it looks to create this feel but whatever the energy, it works. Thankyou to the creators and staff at this hotel for a truly lovely few days of peace and chill. And also to say the situation of the hotel to explore central London is totally perfect 👌

The hotel was really easy to find, the staff were nice, & the room was lovely. Really well done, making the most of a fairly small area. It was beautifully styled, clean, comfortable, well-insulated to outside noise, and smelled great! The bed was comfy although the pillows were a bit of a let down (tbh it felt like they had been deflated!) The bathroom was spotless and the shower products were amazing, I need to buy some! The only negative apart from the pillows was it was a battle to wade through the oceans of people in the foyer / cafe bar area, milling around on laptops with 2-hour-old coffees. You just couldn’t hang out there bc there was nowhere to sit. So we went elsewhere to buy food and drinks. I don’t understand why the hotel is ok with this. It felt like a student refectory or library not a bar.

Decent hotel, well located, good bedrooms. Staff friendly, nice breakfast. Only negative comment was in the public areas, assume non guests used it like a coffee shop using the WiFi which meant seating wasn’t available for hotel guests

The efficient and cozy room was just what we needed during our stay in London. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was a great place to land after long days od sightseeing. There were a couple of service snaffus, in RONDO and in room service, but were quickly remedied with a credit for items not received. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, would book again!

Great hotel with a lovely bar! My only concern was that the room had random microphone sounds coming out of the fire system above the bed. In addition, the heating/cooling unit sounded like it was leaking the whole stay. Area felt very safe
