The hotel is located just a tad bit off of the busy Lisbon district but walking distance to get to anywhere. Super thick walls and a dark room created the perfect restful environment to sleep. Wonderful location for getting around old town, right between Alfama and Baixa. Also the cafe on the first floor has excellent brunch food. Recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon! 5/5"

"This was my first visit to Lisbon and I travel quite a bit. I don’t like to stay in chain hotels, but rather boutique hotels. I was at first a bit apprehensive when I entered the very small entrance, but was then relieved by the welcome and then the beauty of the accommodations themselves. The room looked exactly as it did on the Expedia website. I loved the delivery of fresh bread every morning as well as fresh fruit And wonderful coffee. "

"Great location. It is a little awkward having the reception on the 2nd floor and not having a receptionist there at least during normal business hours. The property is showing sings of wear and tear. The faux leather on the headboards is peeling. It got stuck to my back. The shower faucet could not be adjusted, but water would come so we still managed to take a shower. "
