The proximity of the facility to town is good. The air conditioner worked very well. The room we had was too small for the furniture packed into it. For example, the desk was situated so that when the chair was used, one could not pass from one end of the room to the other. The carpet was in dire need of cleaning, though the age may preclude getting it truly clean and getting the stains out. The bath vanity was microscopic. The bath towels were paper thin. we spent 6 nights there and I don't think the room was made up even once.

The towels and hand towels were mismatched. There were not enough for the 4 adults. Same for soaps. Everything was old and needed replaced. The halls smelled good f cigarettes. But the rooms were pretty clean.

This is an excellent budget hotel. It's not fancy but you can tell the owners and employees take pride in the place. Everything was clean, breakfast was simple but perfect for our needs. There is also a kitchen that guests can use to prepare food. Shadow, the hotel owners dog was adorable and a special treat to pet on the way in and out. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the location is very convenient.
