Fantastic location - views of spectacular historic buildings, only meters away, short walk to nearly ALL of Leipzig's incredible museums, theaters (concert hall, opera house, etc) and phenomenal historic restaurants.

Our experience at the NH was great. The room was well designed, clean, and the wireless reliable. The fitness center was also good for a European hotel. Lastly, the property was a few blocks from the busy main square and just a 15-minute walk from the main train station

I had stayed at the Centrum about 2 years ago and was glad I could return, for all the reasons mentioned above. I was attending the Bach Festival and I believe it is the ideal location. My interaction with staff was mostly through the people working on the breakfast, which I found to be welcoming and helpful. Everything was super clean and the price was wonderfully competitive.

The staff was excellent throughout. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. I loved having advance choice between a tub-shower and a walk-in shower (during early online check-in). I generally dislike tub-showers because they seem slippery and awkward, and therefore potentially dangerous.

Convenient location, good breakfast. Unfortunately when I checked in the staff weren’t able to find my Expedia reservation on their system, but after showing them several emails from Expedia, they provided a room. They couldn’t explain why the reservation didn’t appear on their system.

Disappointing

Not up to the standard wen have come to expect from NH Hotels. We had to request additional coffee capsules each day of our stay, instead of having then left when the room was serviced. We also requested washcloths from several different staff, but none ever arrived. One of the windows did not seal properly which resulted in street noise disturbing our sleep. The lights around the bed did not work on one side. The window treatments on one of the windows were also not complete. All in all, extremely sloppy attention to detail. We have stayed in NH hotels in Vienna, Verona, Bologna and Dresden and have always been extremely satisfied. Leipzig NH was a big disappointment. The staff could not have been nicer, but management needs to up their game on maintenance and attention to detail.
