Room was clean, bed comfortable, nearby to restaurants, gas stations. Only one complaint and that is that the room/bathroom was small and felted cramped and slightly difficult to move around, other than that drawback it served it’s purpose

We had a quick overnight in the area & this motel was a good value. Close to the highway & walking distance to restaurants, coffee & town. Check in was easy, staff is very kind & friendly. Our room was very basic but spacious & clean. We slept well. We would definitely stay here again.

Simple, Clean and very worth it

Very pleasant stay at an upgraded “old school” motel. Manager was very friendly and they obviously take very good care of the property. It was a good deal for a busy weekend going to Tanglewood, which was a quick drive away. Also they are right next door to an excellent diner. Recommend!

Good Value for the Budget Traveler

I found this place to provide a good value for the budget traveler and in particular someone needing a place on short notice. The employee or perhaps the manager or owner at the front desk was quite friendly. The bed was comfortable, and room quiet, or at least quiet for being there off season (there were only a few cars in the parking lot the night that I visited). However, this is an older motel, and has its limitations even if its kept up as well...

This place is perfect for overnight or two. We stayed after a Tanglewood concert. Regrettably they are running on short staff so the pool, at that time, wasn't available. Owner is an honest and hard working man. Very friendly. Handled an unreasonable man/hiker who demanded to check in early in a fair way. Super terrific cafe nxt door. I'd stay there again for sure.

For an inexpensive, bare bones motel in Lee, MA, the Sunset Inn is very satisfactory. The room is quite small and it's a little shabby but very clean and everything worked, including wifi, the AC, the frig and microwave (I didn't use that, but assume.) I liked that I could open the window in the back for fresh air. I wish the AC had been turned on before I came. The air freshener or cleaning product didn't smell good. Even though there is a nice breakfast restaurant next door (didn't go there) and a Dunkin' a block away, coffee in room or the office would be nice. The pool looked beautiful but too chilly for a morning swim. Overall, good place and nice owners.

BED BUGS!!!! SEE Photos

BED BUGS....no refund. I checked the room for bed bugs when I got there (with a flashlight) and didn't see any, but when I woke up I killed 3. I left before the front desk opened and contacted Hotels.com. they said since I didn't file a complaint on site that I couldn't get a refund. I'm now spending $50 and half a day of my vacation at the laundromat. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I like the fact that there is a pool and its clean. Room is small and the tub looks kinda dirty. Not a bad price and quite a few restaurants that are walkable
