The staff was incredibly helpful in resolving issues we had (a few outlets were out and we managed to obtain an early check-in). The TV didn’t work and I was a little bummed by that but the premises was clean and orderly, I’d recommend this hotel.

My suite King room AC was leaking, the carpet was wet, that caused odor, room carpet was not fully vacuumed, WI-FI was not working, staff were friendly, during my 4th day stay house keeping only came once upon request, laundry room was in poor condition, pool water condition was not clean.

Great place and location in Lansing.

Great place to stay. Suite was clean. Staff was extremely helpful at night when I arrived. And, same staff member was accommodating when I had to check out early. Convenient location for the trip.

I was in town for a performance at the Wharton Center in East Lansing The hotel was a short, relatively easy drive away. Very nice property. Clean. Easy access from the Highway. I would stay here again.

Well...I wish I could give an adequate review, but unfortunately the night we checked in, two out of three of us got hit with the stomach virus and stayed in the room the entire time. We missed out on the free breakfast, work out room, and weren't able to fully enjoy the swimming pool. Needless to say, the bed was comfortable and we were supplied plenty of towels, bed sheets and cleaning supplies to make our "sick" stay as comfortable as possible. Wish we could be given a "do-over" to enjoy all this hotel has to offer!

Only compliant is the laundry room door gets locked by a third party at 10pm and doesn't open until 7am and not even the staff can get in there. So if you put a load in at 945pm, don't plan on putting it in the dryer until the following morning. Solution; Rearrange the layout if noise is the concern and dont pay someone else to lock a door.

This hotel was ok. The pool was under repair. I think the hotel has a management problem. Housekeeping was so so. The breakfast ran out of food and wasn't replaced. The dishwasher was full with dishes.

The first room had no electricity at the living room sofa table or the computer desk. The phone was not connected...so no phone....the second room had a dishwasher full of DIRTY dishes and the shower did not provide sufficient water flow for a satisfactory shower for a small person, let alone a larger man. I have stayed there many times, but the quality of the stay is depreciating..,

Could use new house cleaning

The room looked great when we arrived. The. We went to take showers and there was no hot water. We had to switch rooms. The bedding in the 2nd for the pullout was disgusting. Next night we came back to the room and one of the air conditioners were not working. Went down for breakfast and water was leaking from the ceiling right onto the island that they serviced the food from.

When it takes 70 mins to get a room key that’s horrible. I had 2 tired kids and a wife waiting in the hallway for 35 mins!!!!!! That’s ridiculous and not a good place to stay. All because the original person checking me in screwed up and put me in another persons room and didn’t know how to fix it.

Homewood 6 out of 10

Receptionist was anything but friendly, definite lack of professionalism. Zero eye contact, no friendly greeting ( barely a greeting) . Didn't state what room we were in or even direct us to the elevator. Not a big deal because we can read, but I would think that the person that checks in customers would be friendly at minimum. Homewood is a nice hotel and could do a better job finding a better personality to greet customers. She didn't address the amenities only breakfast time. Check in was fast and easy. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was lacking and Under prepared for the number people staying the night. Ran out of several selections 90 minutes for breakfast ended. Would probably not stay with Homewood again.

I'm a simple person that really was just looking for somewhere to sleep & recharge after my day. The parking for this location is awkward & limited. There was never a member of staff at the front desk when I needed to ask a question. I had to move rooms twice; my first room had no electric in half the room while my second room ended up with no working microwave, the fridge was off when I got tere (which I did not know at the time, so an entire dinner was ruined because I put my leftovers into the fridge), and there was a leak in the bathroom. My third room was fine; i had no silverware in the kitchenette, the fan/vent in the shower area didn't work, a light at the vanity flickered terribly, & there was no silverware in the kitchenette (again). There was weird damage in the rooms (the wallpaper near the toilet was brown & discolored) and the showers were (oddly) devoid of any useful ledges or shelves upon which to place my 3 cleaning items (shampoo, body soap, & body lotion). The cleaning staff did a poor job cleaning the room; essentially, they messed with the bedding, took towels & only replaced half of them, left every single light on in the room, & took the trash (including trash bags but never replaced those). I had to ask for additional towels and additional trash bags to place into my trash cans. Honestly, the worst part about the room changes is that not one member of staff seemed to care that I had to move everything to another room nor did they offer recompense.

If they tell you the hotel is full booked and after arriving early, the room is no ready yet stay at lobby or you could end with wherever room they had for the staff or so, is the only explanation to get a room without proper curtains just a piece of fabric, so the lights out don’t let you sleep all night. Lesson learned.
