"The property is being remodeled. There's some mess here and there, but nothing to gripe about. The beds were comfortable, and the room clean. The breakfast was good. I recall the beds were advertised as queens, but ours were doubles, not that it made a difference. We'd gladly stay here again. There are restaurants about two blocks north, and there's even a grocery store in the area."

"The Forest Park Hotel.. is well it’s nothing fancy but it is a place to stay if you don’t want go drive 2 hours home. The hotel location worked out perfect for myself and 2 kids due to the activities we had planned were all right there within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The check-in process was easy and quick. Although I can’t remember the man’s name behind the counter, he was very pleasant attentive and took care of me right away. Getting up to the room was not hard after parking our car going in...
