"Upon arrival at 9 pm, staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and lovely. All this was awesome. Things went south when after a long day of travel, in preparation for heading to bed we found we had zero water anywhere. No shower, No flushing of toilets, no water in the sink taps. We could not even brush our teeth. I phoned the front dest to see if there was a trick to turning on the water in the condo. It was then we were informed there was a water flushing of hydrants happening and it would take 2 hours. I was told there should have been a notice on our Condo door. There was no notice on the condo door unfortunately so we were unprepared for the water shut down. We went to bed despite not being able to do our usual routine since it had been a long travel day and 2 more hours of staying up was too much for us. The next morning we found we STILL had no water. another call to the front desk and we were told they did not know when the water would be fixed. I asked if there would be any compensation as we were only there for 2 nights and after traveling a long day we weren't even able to use the facilities in our room and now we still were without water, couldn't even flush the toilet. She said this was a matter for management and she would take my name , room number and phone number and give that to him and he would get back with me. I am hoping I will still hear from management and something can be done. Water was finally restored just after 8 pm. "

"Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort "

"Overall a great spot to stay if you're into peace and quiet. The view from the lanai is great and its proximity to the pools/tennis courts and parking are a plus. The VRBO is well stocked with many recreational items you might need for a trip to the Big Island. Definitely at its maximum comfort limit for 4 adults given the bedrooms. Things to note: this is at the south end of Kona, so it takes a little bit of driving to get to the downtown area as well as the airport and any larger stores you know of from the mainland. There is no easy "walkable'" beach access. A few other important points: recall no central Air Conditioning. There is 1 small window unit in each of the 2 bedrooms and fans. Internet is provided, but no regular TV service. We came across several bugs/bug carcasses but this is to be expected. Hot water didn't quite last for 4 adults in a row, so plan ahead. The front door unlock mechanism is difficult to work at times - would recommend an upgrade to a digital unit (with both keypad and key). Finally, and a big issue for a tall guy with glasses who stays in the master bedroom - the bed has deadly sharp metal corners that project quite some ways from the comforter. Still to this day (1 month later) I have healing injuries from repeatedly running into the sharp corners - and not just during the dark! Also, watch your head for low spinning fans! Despite this - this VRBO still gets a 4.5/5 stars. Will stay here again if we come back to Kona!"

"Just right for planning your own adventures or just relaxing by the pool. Cozy and convenient to a great little shopping complex and the action of Kona is a short drive. Just around the corner from guided snorkeling tours, and a nice little beach. Complex is safe, ultra clean and well maintained. Condo has everything you might need. We had a deligtful stay."

"Very pretty, lots of pools and hot tubs close by which we used.Lovely balcony, nice kitchen. Easy parking. Use of beach chairs. Didn't care for two floors. The next time I would find a place with an ocean view and beach if possible."

"Very friendly staff. Despite the fact that I checked in at night and couldn’t figure it out, the manager was in touch with me for about 40 minutes until I found my number! All amenities! 5 stars for everything!"

"Spacious condo perfectly situated with a lanai overlooking the sunset and pounding waves. The development is away from the noise, between downtown Kona to the north and Captain Cook attractions like Two Step and Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau to the south. Manta ray snorkeling trips depart from around the corner on Keauhou Bay. I decided to stay here despite one negative review, and I"m happy I did - the dryer vent and jacuzzi problems have been corrected. There is beach equipment in the closet (small cooler, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel gear) and board games to keep you entertained. Plenty of room to spread out or gather in a big group. Super comfy beds including four twin size beds for the kids to have their own. Would stay here again."
