Great short stay.
The property was exactly as described. It was clean and had a million dollar view. We were very pleased with everything. The only problem was the elevator. Only one worked for the entire visit. Really inconvenient, as it is a large property and we were on the sixth floor. Otherwise, I would recommend this property.

Our parking spot was awfully far away, Dishwasher rack had issues, microwave had issues, both shower and tub need grab bars. Otherwise all was fine.

Great Vacation
Loved the unit and the beautiful view. Only down issue was our elevator was still down since May so we had to share one but it worked out ok, just had to be patient. Would definitely come back. Pool was perfect, beach awesome, beds comfortable, unit spotless and plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. Communication with host was right on.

Amelia South Condo
Location was great as well as the view from the balcony. Condo was in need of a overall “shake down”. Garbage disposal was locked-up/ froze and dishwasher did not work (no power). Some of the carpet runners had corners that had curled up and represented a trip hazard. Screen doors to balcony were operable, but required some finesse to open and close due to the rust intensive environment. Otherwise, it was pretty comfortable and will be a great property if upgraded/updated.

Beautiful view
Very nice and clean condo. The parking was a little lacking, but management was very accommodating. I would definitely stay again. The view was amazing.

Property was well maintained overall. The unit had new wifi that didn't work for the whole week. We had to sort out our own options with no real help from property manager. The electrical needs to be updated so that more outlets are available. We enjoyed our time overall at this location. Great pizza shop available on property with great beach.

Nice property
Very nice condo. It was a little too far from town for us, but nothing major. Our only complaints are that we couldn’t figure out how to work the coffee pot nor the TV (which had about a gazillion channels). It might be nice if you had user guides for these items.

The property was great, clean and the kitchen was well equipped for any type cooking if you choose to do so. Unit had both drip coffee maker and Keurig. After a long day at the beach the evening view of the beach is outstanding. The TV and programming were great, full cable and smart tv choices.

Condo was very clean. Great view of the beach. Easy access and short walk to the beach and pool. Check in process was smooth. Communication with the property managers was excellent. We originally did not get a parking pass but texted the property manager and was brought one first thing in the morning. If interested in renting bikes, there are awesome trails where we saw lots of wild life.

Fall asleep to the sound of surf
My family and I enjoyed the ocean view and beach decor. The condo had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and sand toys in the closet. The only issues were communication over how to get to the beach/pool (cards, not bands) and finding the parking spot. It was a wonderful time and we would stay here again.

The property was ideal for the ease of getting to the beach on a flat boardwalk with few steps and the really nice pool and spacious deck. The condo was adequate for what was needed.

Upholstered furniture is in desperate need of refurbishing/replacing. The moldy smell is overpowering and if you have respiratory issues this is NOT a place you want to rent. We had to remove the cushions to another room. Recliners are absolutely filthy on head and foot rests. We brought the dining chairs over to sit on to watch TV. Cleaning crew was hit or miss. Most surfaces on shelves were dusty. Couch rattan was disgusting as there were old spills and the sides probably hadn’t been dusted in years. I found a dirty sock under one dresser. It was sticking out so hard to miss. It is a shame because the kitchen has been nicely updated and is more than well supplied. Baths are updated too and rooms are generous size. The view is gorgeous. And the pool and beach access are very nice. Location is good. The management company was unresponsive despite two calls explaining the issues. I would never deal with them again. This is our first negative experience with VRBO and was quite disappointing. It’

This complex was in a great location. Unit liked a little in cleanliness. Floors greasy/sticky Toilet had urine on seat upon check in Back deck table was dirty. However, upon bringing this to the management - they had someone come in and clean the toilets and back deck.

My family (Georgia, Idaho) had planned a vacation to the Gulf for a year. Hurricane Sally took that away. My kids still had to fly into Pensacola. We had to find somewhere to go. We had visited Fernandina Beach, FL for a wedding a few years ago. We had only ONE DAY to make reservations. VRBO made it all possible. My family had a beautiful week at the beach. Our condo at Amelia South was PERFECT. It was even BETTER than the pictures. We would DEFINITELY stay at this condo again.

Father's Day on the Beach
My boyfriend and I drove his 2 boys (9 years and 15 years old) down to Fernandina Beach for a lovely Father's Day weekend. Everything was absolutely wonderful! The view was amazing as it's directly on the beach, and the pool was perfect especially when it got hot during the afternoons. There is a gas station directly across the street so ice, waters, snacks and drinks were easily accessible for the long beach days. There is a fun seafood restaurant within a very short walking distance, so we could eat there whenever we wanted to. They have live music on the weekends, great beverages and are open late. That ended up being perfect for us since our drive took longer than expected. The bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen was open and newly renovated as were the bathrooms. There were plenty of beach towels and fun toys to play with. The balcony was peaceful and had plenty of chairs and tables etc. The only issue we came across was the beach umbrella. It is large and had rusted out so it was hard to find shade and keep the umbrella upright in the sand. Other than that it was perfect. Also (not an issue), I wish we had known more about what the complex had to offer while were there such as breakfast and other fun things. Anyway, we had a really great time and would stay here again. Thanks for everything!!

Excellent Property! Great View and Proximity to Beach!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The property is set up nicely with bedrooms on opposite ends of condo. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch. Noise level was a little high with the pool being directly beneath us but not a whole lot you can do about that. Also, first night the pool light was left on and it never got completely dark in our bedroom!! Beds were nice and comfy but the linens on the sofa bed needed replacing. We used the washer/dryer for this and had no problems. Washed several beach towels and bathing suits along with bath towels and cloths with no issues. It was nice having that available in the condo. Overall this property was 5-Star! There were just some small things that irked us. One thing was we did not get a parking pass but fortunately they did not check this the entire time we were there. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!!

Perfect location for a quiet beach get away. Condo had plenty of space for our family of 5. Nice to have 2 BR & 2 baths - one for kids and one for adults. Beds and linens were good quality. Loved seeing the sunrise over the ocean from our balcony. Condo came w beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella. Beach was easily accessed and not crowded at all - mostly young families or retirees. Decent sized pool for kids to play in after a day at the beach. Only comment is the living room furniture needs an upgrade. We didn’t spend a lot of time inside so it wasn’t a big deal but more modern furniture would be nice.

Beautiful suite overlooking Atlantic.
The property is well maintained and very clean. Great view from balcony of the large pool below and the beach. The beach is very clean and free of trash and debris. There is a gas station and restaurant within walking distance behind the property. The weather was the only thing that was relatively unpredictable, as storms would cut short our beach time. I will visit this property again in a few years.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It had just about everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and easily fit our group of 6. It is located in a convenient spot close to the elevator. The only small thing was the lack of beach chairs, etc. What little was there were old and moldy. We flew in so we were not able to bring our own beach equipment so we ended up buying some and leaving it at the condo or giving it away. The balcony facing the ocean has amazing views and is very relaxing. We had a great week and highly recommend it.
