Excellent property! Excellent view and staff was amazing! Shout out to Elena in food & beverage. We reported a miss understanding to her and immediately felt the love and willingness to rectify the situation! Would definitely go back! Also, the Spa was amazing!

Overall disappointing. Location was also out of the way. You have to take a taxi everywhere although most taxis were friendly. I would highly recommend staying in "Hotel 1" area. Food options were limited to buffet area. You have to stand in a ridiculous line to reserve a table in one of the other restaurants. If you check out a towel, make sure you turn them back in or you will be charged a ridiculous fee of $25 us dollars. I left mine in the pool area and had to pay $50! Staff watched us leave them behind and none bothered to tell us to return them as a courtesy. They probably get a kickback. Easy way to take advantage of people and make money. Will not return!

The hotel was very nice, the view is incredible, food was delicious, activities and shows were great, kayaking to the island and sailing are also included, maybe they can add an air hockey table to the family room and a room for teenagers with video games, overall great vacation!

We loved our stay at the Azul Ixtapa Grande! It was so quiet when we were in our room and the view from our room was incredible. The fine dining restaurants were great and there was good food at the general buffet. The staff...everyone and everywhere....were excellent, so attentive and ready to serve! Make sure you tip frequently because they deserve it!

This was our 2nd year staying at Azul Grand for our annual girls trip to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is always clean and inviting. We love to stay here.

I think this property is lovely. The staff are super attentive and friendly, the food was excellent, the views from the room are unmatched, and it felt so safe. I would have given it 5 stars, except they didnt have a lot of different show options, the pools closed really early and there wasnt a lot to do in the evening. The hotel is pretty far from town so if want to do anything at night you have to leave the hotel. Otherwise it was amazing!

They were working on the floor above us, our room smelled like varnish. Not much of a beach out front of the property, not a lot of activities at the property.

Clean and well appointed hotel with a very friendly staff. Lot's of great options on the buffets. The specialty restaurants left a bit to be desired. Their availability was limited and the staff seemed rather stretched to handle the the customers they had. While it was nice to have an occasional "sit-down" meal, the food quality was actually below what we found at the buffet. The only other issue we had was our in-room refrigerator did not work and was not repaired or replaced during our stay.
