Doug Fraser Artist Loft Suite

It is like sleeping in a painting! From your balcony or hot tub, enjoy sweeping views of the ocean, lingering sunsets, and my sculpture garden while listening to the sounds of nature in this creative space. Our home and your suite is located just 4 km from the village of Inverness, the Cabot golf courses, a 3 mile white sandy beach and a 30 second walk to my art gallery. It has been described by travellers as peaceful, relaxing, romantic yet close to the action! Your cozy suite is located on the top floor of our home with your own private entrance. Your sitting room, kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom with a balcony is separated from our living space.

Our property is yours to enjoy. Take a stroll or do some meditation in my sculpture garden. Take advantage of the fire pit, barbecue and of course the hot tub is yours to enjoy on your own. I welcome visits to the gallery to talk art or provide directions and advice on your adventure.

Other nearby attractions include Cabot Golf and resort, fine restaurants, Glenora Distillery, hiking trails, trans Canada trail, harness racing, beautiful white sandy beach with the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. Summer water temps reach 22 degrees c.

Amazing!!
I loved everything about this beautiful spot! The apartment is laid out wonderfully, and it was fully equipped with everything we could want. The views were spectacular, whether it was sunny or raining. We really enjoyed all interesting scupltures on the ground, abd even a visit by the owners' enormously fluffy cat. And the hot tub was sublime. We felt completely private, even with the owners right next door. They respected out privacy completely (and we, theirs). I would happily have stayed longer, and hope to return! Thank you!

I highly recommend staying at Doug’s Loft Suite. The setting is very tranquil and the sculpture garden is a very unique feature. The loft is very clean, efficient and well equipped. Doug is a very personable host who is friendly but not intrusive. I would stay again.

Deepdale is Excellent - Highly Recommended
We really enjoyed our stay at Deepdale. The hosts, Doug and Carrie are wonderful and helpful. The property was perfect for two- an enjoyable studio. It’s modern and very clean. The kitchen provided space to cook light meals; the bathroom is wonderful. The hot tub was very relaxing. It’s a cozy home and our hosts made sure we enjoyed our home away from home. Doug helped us plan some hikes with his extensive knowledge of the area. We also enjoyed a tour of the artwork on the property that Doug has created and his studio features many depictions of the coastline. If you’re going to be in this area, we’d highly recommend Deepdale.

The loft was very clean and comfortable with a kitchen that had everything you would need. You could watch the sunset every evening from the deck or bedroom. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. The grounds were breathtaking with sculptures, woods, ocean views and flower beds. We would highly recommend this location.

A very special place
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed into this beautiful property. The loft itself was very modern with thoughtful touches, like the frosted beer mugs in the freezer. The view was incredible, and if you have the opportunity to have a tour with Doug of his gallery, we highly recommend it. It really made the stay that much more special. The 10 minute drive to Inverness beach was also a major plus. We couldn't recommend this listing more. Romantic, very clean and the hot tub topped it off.

Wonderful property
We had an amazing stay in Doug Fraser’s loft. The unit itself is cozy and bright with skylights illuminating the sitting area and bathroom. The air conditioning unit kept the place comfortable during the summer heat wave. The bed is comfortable and looks out onto Doug’s amazing sculpture garden and further away the Gulf. Do not leave without the tour of Doug’s studio and garden-it was in our top 3 of our stay in Inverness(along with the Nest at Cabot Cliffs and the Cabot Bar for a great dinner overlooking the 18th hole of the Cabot Links). We will definitely be back to such a beautiful area.
