After reading other reviews, our stay and room were surprisingly pleasant. Check in went quickly, both rooms we stayed in were nice and clean. Breakfast was nice and food looked good. Pool area and pool were clean. Gym was the same way. Would stay another night if we were back there

Our room, 103, was comfortable and clean. There was no hair dryer that I could find and fortunately I didn't need one. The breakfast was mediocre. The juice machine was broken so instead there was a pitcher with orange liquid which tasted like Tang.

They are remodeling so it's a work in progress. My room had the biggest fluffiest bed. Very large and quiet. The outside of the building just needs a paint job. The limited staff is efficient and knowledgeable and helpful.

Good for the price

The staff was very friendly and the room was decently clean. However, the pool was closed, the hot water was back and forth, one of the lamps next to the bed didn't work, and the tub stopper didn't work so we had to wedge a washcloth into the drain. It was a cheaper option so we didn't complain but just a couple basic things need to be corrected

The staff is great. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the sofa was new. The only negatives were the curtains that had burns in them and the need for fresh paint.

Property was conveniently located off the highway (I94) and also close to Indiana Toll Road. Gas stations next to hotel and restaurants close by. Convenient location for Notre Dame football games for those who don't want to travel back especially after night games.

We had a room near the elevator which would ding loudly each time the door opened. Our room itself was okay, comfortable bed and clean bedding which is what we needed as we checked in late to sleep. The condition of most of the hotel was very run down and in disrepair. That being said, it was pretty cheap. I would stay again if I only needed to sleep.

The staff was wonderful!! It was unkept outside and i think the owners live there. There was an odd area people were coming out of. There was a musty, dirty smell when you walked in, in the lobby, and the entire building. You can tell it was an old building that was quickly renovated and corners were cut. Our room felt muggy and smelled like a very strong cleaner. The air conditioner worked fine, but never got rid of the mugginess. There were a few spots where bugs or spiders were smashed on the wall and never wiped off. The room wasn't carpeted either, which is just a personal preference i don't like. We stayed at a Comfort Inn the night before, and the room was gorgeous, carpeted, significantly more modern, very clean, smelled great, and had an amazing breakfast. I don't know why this one wasn't of equal value, quality, and overall experience.

Bathroom sink drains too slow. Bathroom door hinges were unstable iron did not work and iron board legs were missing screw to secure board and board was at an angle iron could slide off! But again iron did not work. Bed was extremely comfortable

Yikes. Check-in guy didn’t even greet us before rambling off a list of warnings regarding the broken elevators, issues with remote and tv, etc. He was very rude and did not seem to exhibit any custom service at all! In our room, visible black mold was in the shower. No hot water at all in sink or shower. Knife marks were on the headboard. There was barely anything available for breakfast (no coffee or cereal or anything). Floors were filthy. I will say, the bed itself was extremely comfortable with nice mattress and nice linens.

Run down

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I was slightly disappointed on how run down this hotel was. The room was clean enough but the side door to outside security lock was broken. The landscaping overgrown and trash everywhere outside. The hotel seems to be connected to another in same way. That has broken windows, an overgrown outdoor lounge area. Boarded up windows. Abandoned shopping carts. Random flipped over chairs… I want to say again, while super disappointed on the condition of the hotel itself, the staff was very nice!

It looked like a 2-star hotel, I did not expect this. Everything looks pretty run down and old. A lot of doors also corroded, washroom has plumbing issues, hot water takes a while to come. Overall, unless the hotel is renovated, I cannot recommend

The whole hotel is poorly maintained and can only be described as shabby. This should be addressed to the hotel chain HQ and it should be delisted from Expedia. Keeping this hotel with Expedia will only damage your reputation.
