We had a great stay! The lake is a lot closer than what it looks in the photos. Even the snowy mountains on the other side are pretty visible.
Upstairs: the kitchen has cooking pots and pans, full sets of utensils, cooking utensils, sets of plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups, a coffee maker (there’s coffee too), a toaster, dishwashing soap, sponges, pods for the dishwasher, paper towels, etc. Spices and everything you would need to cook. Do get cooking oil or butter if you are going to fry anything.
Laundry room has an iron/ ironing board, laundry detergent, a mesh laundry bag.
Every bathroom is well stocked. Plenty of towels, 2 hair dryers, shampoo/conditioner sets, double sinks.
Heat works fine (controlled by a thermostat). We never used the fireplaces in June. Got to lower 40s at night, but we weren’t cold).
2 balconies. The one upstairs has tables/ chairs. The other balcony is perfect for napping in the lounging chairs (if you want to get a tan - it’s in the sun most of the day).
There are a few throw blankets around the house and sit-up pillows if you like to sit in bed.
We came in 1 car and parked by the door in the car port. Watch out for bears before 6am - saw one walking down our street.
The neighborhood is beautiful. Close to hiking trails (Park by Tunnel Creek Cafe (7min away) - there are 2 trails from there: Tahoe East Shore trail is paved&easy, Monkey Rock/Fume is harder, go early - the views are stunning and it’s cooler).
