No support from property management. WiFi doesn’t work. Smoke detector kept going off needing a new battery. Maintenance came in, looked at it and left and never came back to fix it. Fireplace didn’t work either

We loved our stay here. The location was in close proximity to the beach, the place was well kept and clean. Sitting out on the deck was so relaxing and beautiful. The listing does this place no justice.

Everything was great except the sleeping arrangements. Queen bed needs updating and the pull out couch should be completely replaced. My kids could barely sleep on it which caused us to be up most of the night. Check in via video was fast and easy. Location was great as well.

Villa in North Lake Tahoe
The property was great and exactly like pictures presented! The issue we had was on the property management end. According to the listing, and a personal call to reservations before booking, I was told we had full use of the whole villa. When we checked in, the reservation clerk told me we only had half the villa. I explained that was not what I booked and he finally gave us full use, but informed me I needed to contact HomeAway in the morning. I did, they were awesome and said I was correct and the property manager could contact them to handle any issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and just wish we could’ve stayed longer! We would definitely book again!

We loved the layout of this unit. We found the two floors, each with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and family room to be the perfect fit for our large family! The only complaint I had is that the mattress on the fold out sofa is terrible. The springs were almost popping through the material. We could not use these beds, which was a bummer! Upgrade these mattresses and the place would be perfect!

They didnt have our reservation when we arrived, they did give an up grade. The place it self had no air conditioning was very uncomfortable, the tv remotes would not work. The tv had narrator/captions we couldnt get off. I called the front desk he put on hold and forgot about me, i called back and they never could figure it out. Very noisy, cars drive way too fast up and down the driveway.

No documentation/information regarding beach passes. No jacuzzi in room, felt like a bait and switch, no AC, baseboard heater was constantly on, could not turn it off. Was a good deal for a Labor Day stay, you get what you pay for.

The property says they remodeled inside which they did, but the outside seriously needs a coat of paint. There was no air conditioning and the upstairs apartment was beastly hot. The ceiling fan had a wiring problem that did not allow us to run the fan and turn the light off at the same time, so we couldn't run the fan to sleep. Our key cards malfunctioned twice, so we had to keep going back and getting new ones. The apartment was pretty cute inside but the remodel was cheap.

Nice location. They are renovating so will be interested to see when complete. Room looked nice. Needs step off deck. It's old and section of floor creaked. Could have used different material to grout tube/shower. Had very noisy individuals above and staff were very nice to address it.

Make sure to do research before staying here
To be honest, I wouldn’t stay here again. The AC was not working or doesn’t have it & was told it’s listed on website when I booked through here went back to listing didn’t see anything about place not having AC. The plumbing system was extremely slow/inoperable at times. All throughout the night we heard water running/plumbing system it was very distrusting while sleeping. Pull out mattress was very uncomfortable! Other than that place was nice in the inside decent common area with 2 TVs one in living room one in bedroom

Nice modern place
My husband and I stayed at the 1 bedroom condo. The condo itself was modern with adequate amenities. The only 2 issues was that there was a resort fee that was not disclosed when reserving the unit, we found out at check-in. Disclosing it at time of reserving the unit would have been ideal and not have any surprises. The other issue was low internet connection. I was not able to connect more than 2 devices and it would, from time to time, kick me out, very frustrating.

It was awesome. Check in was cool and quick. Remote for tv didn’t work and couldn’t get heater to work but the fire places worked pretty well. Really enjoyed stay.

This place was poorly advertised. We anticipated something completely different not to mention we expected an 11am check out time - nope 9am. Dont expect anything like the pictures on here. The beds (sofa bed and in room bed) were painfully uncomfortable. We got the worst sleep of our lives and ache now! The showers are wonky...most of the water still runs out of the faucet. The patio had major ice chunks and icicles on it - too Dangerous for my daughter. We when arrived the patio door (ground level) was unlocked!! I could go on...

The pictures of the place that is on Hotels.com are nothing alike the actual place really disappointed. There is also a total of $150 in additional charges for staying there on top of the service fee Hotels.com imposes. I'm still waiting on my $100 that was place on hold on my credit card.

Great Experience!
I'm not sure why the other reviews were so negative, however, we had a great experience. The remote check in was fine, the studio room was GREAT, though there was no fireplace. It was clean, freshly remodeled, luxury bedding, full electronics, full kitchen, a great place to stay.

The fireplace was not working, the heat was not working- we used furniture heaters The shower would suddenly become scalding. No one was on site after 4:30 to take care of anything.

Check out time was unacceptable, 9am. There was no A/C. The back patio in our room was nonexistent, two chairs and table with dirt. The front desk could be more clear, have a sign or something saying the guest needs to use the phone to talk to concierge.

Incline Village Condo
Our check-in was unconventional. We connected remotely via a computer screen with staff in another town. I was also surprised that I had to give. $100 cleaning deposit, and we never did get the cable to work. The facilities were very nice, and it was great to have access to the beaches there.

Upgrade not so great
There were 8 of us on the trip and when they upgraded us we ended up only having enough beds for 6. With the upgrade this caused 2 people to sleep on the floor. By the time we discovered this it was so late and we were too tired to try to get a new room. I wish they wouldn't have upgraded us in the 1st place.

Eventually we were offers a very nice unit.
A bit of a comedy. Check in was by remote staff over a TV. The first room was not serviced with bed unmade, rubbish in the bin, washing up in the sink etc. We were subsequently upgraded to a better unit with a great view. The TV and air conditioning was difficult to use and the wifi inoperative on the first night. A pleasant stay after all the initial hassles were sorted out.

This cozy place has everything you need for a good trip in Incline Village. Close to the ski resorts (especially Diamond Peak - less than 5min), it has a full kitchen, a big fridge, a patio with BBQ (gas), nice TV, etc. Highly recommended

Hidden Gem
This place was a hidden gem. We booked it last minute due to weather. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. We had a one bedroom unit. It was next to the outdoor jacuzzi. Lot's of space. The jacuzzi is open 9am to 9pm. Checkin was virtual. A possible door bell or instruction for checking in would be nice. Pick up the phone and dial 0. We stood there for a bit not knowing what to do. Could not check in early.

Thank you for the feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. When you step in to the office, it sends an alert to our front desk staff and they can see you on camera, it must have been that they were assisting a guest at another property. Sorry for any confusion.

Very disappointing. We had 2 adults and 3 kids staying in the room and they advertised that there was a queen and 2 pullout couches which was not the case. There was one bed and one pullout couch. They also had a sign on the door stating checkout was at 9:00am even though hotels.com checkout time was 12:00. We went over to ask about checkout, and they said that we could not checkout at noon, that we had to check out at 9:00. They did not give us a WiFi password, and the TVs only had one channel. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience and it was not worth the money.

Good deal but.........
Checked in at 3, room not ready. 86F outside, inside no air conditioning. Some interior lights burned out. Internet claimed free but logging in wanted to charge per day. Very hot water in shower but no cold. Was told maintenance would get to it when we checked out. Overall condition was tired looking. Price was reasonable, location great, we would stay again if maintenance was up to date.
