Our large family of adults enjoyed this peaceful mountain chalet with its expansive, open , airy and bright main floor plan and deck space for 1 week. Unfortunately it was very smokey due to the fires burning in the State but normally we would have really also enjoyed the expansive Lake View Deck with its gorgeous views. The house is easily located in the heart of Incline Village. There are 4 ample bedrooms, two with twin beds and two with a king & queen. The 3 large bathrooms were also great. The whole home is beautifully furnished, cozy and welcoming. Yes, there are Stairs, but we looked at it in a positive way,,,,what a great workout! It was not 100% perfect, the home could use some general maitenance: French doors on the main & lower deck need weatherstripping and door props to stay open. Master bath sink faucets were really stiff and difficult to turn on. Many light bulbs were missing, some lamps inoperable. Besides the towels in the bathroom, there were NO extra linens, pillowcases or towels or light bulbs.NO BEACH TOWELS or beach chairs or umbrella are provided either. No Lounge chair or Dining chair pads for the uncomfortable iron deck furniture. We were given one trash bag in the kitchen for 8 of us for the week, no pen & pencil, and only two tiny dish towels for the kitchen. We bought our own dish rack for drying as there was none provided. No Laundry Basket. There were no recycle cans, what? In our opinion, these are basic to any rental. No printed instructions were left about basic checkout, telephone numbers to call for help,Where to put your trash & recycling and codes for the "Trash House" down the road by the entrance which we never knew about, private beach access info & prices. Be prepared to pack up all your trash & recyclables, place it in your vehicle and drive it down the road to dispose of it .Oh, and if you decide to go to one of the 3 private beaches you are given tickets for, be warned of the cost, it was $96 for 7 of us to go for the day, and bring your own towels and chairs & buy an umbrella because nothing is provided at the beach for the $ except a chair if they are not taken. We had to look up the property management co on our phone email and to their credit they did bring us some pillowcases, hangers and replaced some light bulbs and told us where to take the trash but a neighbor had to tell us the code. Great rental but the owners should have their property management company step up their game.
