The fridge broke down on us. The AC broke as well. One manager wasn’t very accommodating when we expressed our complaints but Kana’i (Manager) was extremely great! every interaction with him was so nice! He’s so genuine and welcoming. Even when the soap dispenser in the laundry room took our quarters, he offered us 2 soaps, which says a lot and that he goes above and beyond for guests. And the valet fellas were also so awesome and helpful!

Hotel location was great since it was across the street from the ocean. And the zoo and park were on the side street. Easy to walk to parks, restaurants and shopping with most about 15 min walk. The ABC convenience stores were everywhere so easy to get water, quick foods like sandwiches, cut up fruit and beach necessities etc. Loved the trolley which has a stop on the same block and can take you around the area easily and inexpensively $5.50 for whole day pass. I chose the room because it was ocean front but was given a room that could see right inside rooms that faced the side street so not very private. Location not as peaceful as expected due to loud traffic constant throughout the day. Hotel was nice but pretty dated in the room and looked a bit worn. Stains on chair seat left me wondering what else wasn't cleaned. Internet was not easy to connect. Was told they would reboot the router on the floor. Could connect most times. Staff straightened room every other day but forgot toilet paper one time and towels another time. Pool was small and not located near a bar if you like to relax and have a drink by the pool. Rooms around the pool were called the lanai rooms and shared the pool area and lounges with other guests. Felt like I was intruding on their private space. But the beach was right across the road so convenient to access. Staff was pleasant and pretty responsive when asked.

Hotel was close to the beach and staff was quick to respond. Bathrooms could be cleaner (mold in grout and ceiling) and no ventilation in the bathroom. Rooms are small and retain a lot of humidity. Perfect location for the beach and area attractions
