"Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort "

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

We loved being able to hang out in the several lounging spots at the house, being able to walk the beach and tidepools directly in front of the home and easily walk to town. "We lived this property! The view cannot be beat! You can hear the waves crashing against the sea walls and it’s just magical! There is so much to explore just off site! Our kids had a blast exploring the lava sea cliffs and playing in the tide pools. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and safe. We enjoyed having our breakfasts and dinners out in the balcony and the kids loved the soak pool. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"This VRBO was exceptional clean. The views were exceptional. We all enjoyed watching the surfers - and they definitely were very good. the waves were 10 to 20 feet at times. We were on the beach next door a lot. We enjoyed the two bedrooms and the full kitchen. Couldn't quite figure how to operate the tv but that was OK since it made us get outside and enjoy the area. Restaurants downtown are all within walking distance and the are realy exceptional. very friendly area."

"This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time ."

"We were very comfortable with 5 guests. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The views are amazing-we saw whales, sea turtles, tons of fish and sea creatures. The pool is nice. The condo had a cooler, beach chairs and beach towels. There is a great surf break directly in front of the condos. Highly recommend!"

"We asked for and were told we had late checkout at 2:00. They couldn’t accommodate 4:00, but for a fee could do 2:00. I okayed the fee. We got back from our massage in our last day and were locked out. We wasted 30 minutes of our paid for extra time to go down to the front desk to get it straightened out. The when we were back in the room a housekeeper walked in on me- naked , just out of the shower. Not the best way to end our trip. "
