"We asked for and were told we had late checkout at 2:00. They couldn’t accommodate 4:00, but for a fee could do 2:00. I okayed the fee. We got back from our massage in our last day and were locked out. We wasted 30 minutes of our paid for extra time to go down to the front desk to get it straightened out. The when we were back in the room a housekeeper walked in on me- naked , just out of the shower. Not the best way to end our trip. "

"Let’s start off with check in…it’s easy.

You are at an older hotel…get over it. It’s beautiful and is walkable to downtown Kailua. ABC is across the street.
You will have one of three towers. The lagoon, Alii and the Bay.
The pool is amazing and the view is what you are paying for, totally awesome.
Parking: easy. Your room key gets you in and out. It’s self parking.
Your room will have a balcony and a table and chairs.
If you are an early riser you need to hit breakfast early to save time and not be in line. 6:45 latest.
Happy hour is at 4. If there is entertainment that evening I recommend getting a table at 3:45-4
If you are lucky to be waited on by Amy she’s amazing and by far your largest resource is a guy named Forest. He has the scoop on the entire property and is kind. "
