Excellent downtown positioning directly across from Hartford Union Station and Bushnell Park. Easy walking distance to the Connecticut State Capitol, local dining, and central downtown venues.
Great location right across the street from Bushnell Park! Friendly knowledgeable staff. The view from my room window was stunning!! I plan to stay here again!!
Decent hotel. Not too expensive. Near park and restaurants.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel is clean and in a good location if you need access to downtown or the capitol. The bed was very hard and the pillows were almost completely flat. They only had a sheet and a very thin duvet cover on the bed. The towels were also quite small. I think if they got new mattresses and linens, the experience of staying here would be much improved.

City hotel definitely in need of modernisation, not cheap either. Ok for 1 night stop over and for access to arena.
Friendly and helpful check-in guy.
Room was dated but view of capitol building was excellent.
Coffee and water provided. Breakfast was as expected, usual coffee, bagels, some hot food, make your own waffles etc.
$15 parking was secure.
Best perk here was the park across the street. Very beautiful. The breakfast and staff were fine. One was maybe a little too eager to please, not thinking about checking facts. Biggest downer was running out of toilet paper. I'd say I got what I paid for overall.
Well the tv was too small , I was disappointed with he size , the staff at the front desk was polite courteous , I came earlier than the check in time and they got a roll ready for me by 12 instead of 3pm and I'm very thankful and grateful for that act of kindness and I was told that I should've called in they would've prepared a room for me and I appreciate that very much , overall my stay was peaceful and comfortable , breakfast was good.
PAY FOR PARKING even though it says parking included. Rooms were dirty with some water damage to ceilings and some dark stains. There were gnats or fruit flies in the rooms. You could hear the flushing from other rooms and the railroad is right next to the hotel so you can hear it pretty clearly. Sheets are thin. Breakfast was okay, no waffles even though there was a sign saying there would be. Gym is two treadmills and six dumbells. Staff was kind and helpful but don't be fooled by photos

It's was an okay place to stay. First room the shower didn't work so they switched me. Next day I couldn't get into the garage and my key card stopped working. Staff was on their phones and not attentive. Bedding was THIN. The location was good and the rooms were quiet. Tiny garage underground that's hard to navigate in anything but a small car. Breakfast was adequate but not refilled in a timely manner. No cream cheese for bagels, no milk for cereal the first morning, no butter or cream cheese the next morning. Very minimal for advertising a hot breakfast.
The bathroom door couldn't be fully closed, therefore, not lockable. Shampoo and conditioner were so tiny as to only supply one person for one night. We had to find a place to buy more as we two were there for 4 nights. Our room was for 4 people. They would have had to go out the first night - no supplies for that many folks. Towels were limited, we also had to ask for more during out stay. Breakfast was just OK even in comparison to other hotel breakfasts. Location was good but we wouldn't have gone out at night. Secure garage parking was a bonus. Staff was wonderful!
The place was clean and well maintained for the price. Parking is $15 per night. Breakfast was decent, better than I expected. I would definitely stay again.
The property and location were great. Super convenient. There was loads of parking in a basement garage (for a fee).
Our room was a bit run down and smelled a bit like cigarettes. But it did feel clean and it was cheap. It was what we needed for one night!
The hotel/motel was clean and staff was friendly
Close to stores and restaurants but a little hard crossing roads if walking no real crosswalks. The room we were in had slow WIFI but otherwise a nice place to stay and great value for your dollar

Excellent location, but not worth the price. The mattresses are hard & cheap, covered by a paper-thin sheet, no mattress pad, and thin bedding. One pedestal sink in the bathroom with a thin shelf above, so no place to put toiletries. The only outlet for a hair dryer/curling iron is next to the bathroom door, so the cord dangles over the toilet across the room. There’s a big mirror in the actual room, but no outlets, so you can’t get ready in there while someone else is using the bathroom. Our rug was stained, the room didn’t look as nice as the pictures, and the whole floor smelled like cheap cleaning supplies. Breakfast was minimal and not very good. Save your money and go to a chain instead where at least you know you’ll have a comfortable bed.
