We were stuck in Heraklion for an evening and fortunately fell upon Artree. We were so pleasantly surprised. We received a text with all of the information to enter the building and unit. The room is very nicely decorated, the bathroom clean (and quite spacious). The shower was wonderful, considering all of the small showers that I have had during this trip. While the location is not too bad, it is still about a 20 minute walk to more cafes, restaurants etc. we did stumble upon a mom and pop local restaurant. While we enjoyed the food and service, it might not be for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our very short visit at Artree and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable “room”.

Good: the small room provides everything essential. It is close to the Heraklion port, with a 15-minute walk. Easy to take ferries. Not so good: The outside area next to the apt building had large dumpsters. Not preferred: Everything is run online and digital. There was no human touch; no local people welcomed you. We are still old-fashioned. We would like to have the chance to talk to local people. We are not ready to move into the AI era yet.

Only stayed one night but would have stayed longer and would return. Unbeatable at that price point. Spotless, seems new, had everything needed without junking up the room with non essential stuff. Bathroom very nice. Bed super comfortable. Host (who wasn’t onsite but no issue at all) incredibly responsive and friendly/helpful.

Did not particularly like the area we were in but the hotel was beautiful and comfortable. There was an annoying barking dog across from the hotel which was a minus. Otherwise, great place to stay..

Amazing Hotel!
This property was amazing! Really well thought out, beautiful rooms, extremely clean and very eco-friendly. The hosts were fantastic and really responsive. The Nespresso in the room was wonderful as well. I am a big coffee drinker so it was nice to have coffee right away in the morning. Close to restaurants and the airport and only a short cab ride away from beautiful beaches along beautiful cliffs.we only stayed two nights but I wish we could have stayed longer. If I could give it 20 Stars I would.

Perfect for family of 4, our suite accomodated 2 adults 2 teens, had separate bedrooms, 2 showers. Clean and modern, there was a kitchenette which was handy, esp fridge to store tons of our water and snacks. Grocery store 6 min walk away, walkable from port and walkable to Heraklion city center where there are tons of shops & restaurants! Eleni answered all our questions promptly and shared excellent details regarding our stay. Highly recommend, would stay here again.

This is a lovely property with a wonderful history. Each room is carefully thought out and beautifully decorated; as well as being spacious with all you might need for a stay. Hosts are very quickly responsive and very helpful. Location is great with food / shops nearby; and it’s also a short walk to the port and marina. Thank you Eleni and Yiannis, we had a lovely stay. We would highly recommend this property.

The apartment was very nice, the bathroom and showers (there were 2) were very modern and functioned well. There were a couple of issues, the main bedroom (where the mini-kitchen was) had no storage of any kind. There are 2 showers, one of which we never used, there were 3 of us and we took turns, just like with the toilet (there was only 1). I would convert the extra shower into a closet, we had our things all over the room. Also, the same room's bed was pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything about the place was great and so was the location, a little walk to the old center.

Wonderful stay at Artree Suites. Yannis was in touch immediately after the reservation to confirm and give us details about our stay. Self Check in was easy. Great location especially if you are taking the ferry out of Heraklion early in the morning. Beautiful suite!
