Don't waste your money at this resort.
Rooms are in very poor condition. Furniture is old/broken/not comfortable at all! Linens were stained and ripped. Had hole in the wall right by my bed, water was only luke warm and smelled.

Decent place to stay if your over tired.
We found this little gem when we came to Hill City to ride sxs with another group. Easy to find, about a mile out of town. Parking a truck and trailer was not convenient at all. Office was in disarray and I was worried about the condition of the room after being in the office area but the room was pleasant. Overlooks the lake so that was nice, fireplace in the room but we never could get it to come on. Pretty dated room and bathroom but was fine for two nights after riding all day. Negatives that we couldn’t over look: no hairdryer in the room, beds were not comfortable. We would stay here again as there aren’t many options in this town but I would come better prepared.

Everything was great! Nice little resort. Can hear most of the traffic passing by in room, but didn’t bother us. Wish the office was open when we were there for the arcade. Only stayed one night Would stay again!!

Really cute little place! Quiet, super friendly staff. Cabins are simple and functional. Nothing luxurious, so if roughing it with basic human necessities isn't your thing, then stay elsewhere. We loved it and will be back!

Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!
Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! I cannot say this too much. The room was so comfortable with a rotely controlled air conditioner and an ele tric fireplace. A sliding glass door opens to a deck where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful lake. The 2 queen beds are very comfortable; the bathroom clean and supplied with ample towels as well as soap, shampoo, etc. The staff could not have been friendlier orore helpful. Our 1 night stay did not allow time to use trails or fish but I am planning to return here mext year for a week-long vacation!

It could be really nice
This place could be a really nice boutique hotel if they would clean up the property, let you know where the resort property line is so you don't feel like your trespassing onto someone's cottage, clean up the office it looks like a dirty fraternity house, new carpeting, paint and a good cleaning would really help.
