A very average hotel. OK room for money. Would use again for a cheapish break in Glasgow. Didn’t try breakfast as quite expensive and I wasn’t confident it would be good.

If you book this hotel for the pool, make sure you reserve a pool time before you arrive. There is very limited access to the pool. The rest of the hotel is very nice and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities were good, but you have to pay to use the pool ( the jacuzzi wasn’t working and the changing rooms are not great ! - no private changing cubicles) . You also have to pay £15.00 to park your car.

The roads around the hotel made it incredibly difficult to to get to. I have never seen so many traffic cones and one way systems.

Immaculate friendly hotel. Didn’t hear a noise on either night we stayed there. The pool facilities are good and towels were provided. It is close to everything.

Slightly dissapointed. 24 room service had one item at 11pm, if we had known that ut eas limited we would have picked up food before returning to the hotel. Seated for breakfast in the morning, no explanation if it was table service, where the buffet was, tea and coffee etc, we were seated and staff walked away Not the service i exoected for this hotel and left disappointed

The hotel rooms are spacious and good value for money. The area around sauchiehall street has gone down hill but it is only a short walk to Buchanan street and also very close to the subway to go to the west end

Doubletree by Hilton
Hotel was nice and staff were helpful. Main issue was the pool. We had picked this over other nearby hotels that were cheaper but looked of similar quality due to the pool & spa option. We weren’t aware we had to book but hotel allowed us to use a time after we had checked out. Despite needing to book to limit numbers, the pool was far too busy so we never went in, jacuzzi was full with no space the full time we were in as well.’We also had to wait on the sauna and the steam room is tiny so felt cramped. Neither were warm enough I assume due to so many people coming & going. Biggest complaint was cleanliness of the pool & spa area though. Changing rooms were horrible with things like dirty cotton buds lying around, sauna had someone’s snus lying on the ground, just generally dirty. Didn’t last long as a result, felt worse than when we went in so I wouldn’t use the pool as a deciding factor if looking to book this hotel.
