"We loved both Galway and Victoria Hotel. The location could not have been more convenient for us. It took us less than 5 minutes to walk to the hotel from the train, one minute walk to Eyre Square, within 5 minutes we were at Trad Music pubs like King's Head, tis Coli, and Taaffes, about 15 minutes walk to The Crane our, Trad on the Prom is an amazing performance in Galway and you can catch a cab from the hotel to go see it, our Galway Tours buses were only one block from our hotel...the location was perfect! The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable. We were there in May and like most hotels in Ireland there is no air conditioning. It was the perfect temperature both inside and outside the hotel. I'm wondering if a person was to stay at the hotel during the summer, they might be a bit hot in the room? There is an Irish breakfast which is included with the meal and it was pretty tasty. We completely loved it, all the way around, and hope to stay at the hotel again."

"It was my second stay at The Western. It is an amazing hotel in a great location. The breakfast was amazing. Pastries melted in my mouth. The staff is friendly and helpful. The young lady at the front even remembered me from 8 months ago. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. It'lll be my go to hotel when in Galway. "
