My husband and I come to this hotel for a little weekend getaway OFTEN, we've been the last 3 weekends, and we love the pool, along with the room and amenities that comes with it that it makes us feel right at home. There is just 1 thing I'd like to see and that is recognition for reoccurring visitors. Possibly a member program @ the hotel for a free bfast for 2 after so many stays, or free massage after so many stays, or discounted rate after so many stays, etc.. Being recognized as a repeat customer in a way that counts :)

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect. Didn’t eat onsite so can’t rate that food. But room was clean and ready 2 hrs early.

Stay was terrible. Paid way more than other hotels. When i booked hotel they did not tell me outdoor pool is closed . When i checked in then they handed me paper saying pool is closed for next 4 days. My kids were disappointed. Then 2nd night lights went off they said something happened to electricity. Oh and yes they don't have generators so spent night without ac it was mad hot. So my stay was terrible they did not even offer any compensation or something. Terrible

We were visiting for my son's birthday and we all had a very relaxing and fun stay. Most of the front desk workers were friendly and welcoming and our rooms were spacious and clean. I loved how easy it was to just walk over to the different areas and really enjoyed the playground they had next to Palm Beach. The only thing to note that is out of their control is that the mosquitoes were out and no amount of repellent helped. I'm from Texas so I'm not knocking points off, just thought it could be helpful for out-of-staters to be aware of.

Love ALL of it, the cleanliness (entire hotel including rooms smell great, not like cheap fabuluso), Starbucks in the lobby, options for early check in after 1:00 @ no charge, VERY nice & patient staff, room setup that feels so homey. We come here very VERY often. Out of all our stays over the last 7-8 years I only have ONE complaint and that is the pool being closed during our additional night we added last minute to extend my birthday weekend with no notice pool was closed while registering for the additional night. That would have been nice to know because that IS the MAIN amenity for us. Good news is there was a backup plan palm beach which is a small walk behind the hotel, OR Schlitterbahn which is also a small walk from the front of the hotel. Would be ideal if they offered options & perks for reoccurring customers such as myself and husband. LOVE IT ALL!! Best stay EVER.

Terrible experience. The hotel is run down and in desperate need of renovation. There was mold on our bathtub and the staff was so rude. We ordered food to the room, took forever and came with no silverware. When we called down and requested silverware it took over and hour to get it. When I called the third time the person who answered the phone snapped at me and told me “to be patient”. Food was cold once the silverware finally arrived.

Great location, safe property, easy access to parking. Rooms are very dated, subpar amenities, mold in bathrooms, lots of moisture in the hotel in general. We Waited for valet and bar staff during normal business hours. Bar eating tables were not cleaned surfaces not wiped down. Close to attractions. Will stay at San Lius next time.

I usually stay away from giving negative comments, but this one I can't ignore. The Valet and Bell staff (forgot his name) was amazing. The lady that checked us in was rude. No smiling. No empathy. All that aside, we sat by the pool and ordered food from inside. Our salad was full of hair. not appropriate for a resort like the Moody Garden.

This is our second time coming here and we LOVE it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, makes you feel at home. The resort is beautiful and amenities are great! This has become our little getaway without having to leave Texas.
