A room was very clean and staff were friendly. The hotel is located a few min away from a lake, so we got to walk around a path by the lake.

I got a room with Mt. Fuji View and it’s worth every penny. I paid extra for dinner and that was the highlight of my trip. The food was so delicious and the service was excellent! The inside and outside public bath was nice too!

This hotel does not seem to have been renovated in a long time. It's dated and does not feel very clean. The traditional style room was beautiful and spacious, but our sleep was uncomfortable. We were so fortunate that the weather was cooperative during our stay. We opted for a fuji-view room and we had an outstanding view. Paying for this upgrade is a gamble, but was well worth it for us. We had a car, so the location was great!

This is a lovely hotel near the lake. Great views of Mount Fuji as the name suggests with a "panorama lounge" for viewing. Unfortunately at sunrise the windows were covered with moisture which impeded the view. The Onsen was great and not busy, at least in the evening. I took the buffet breakfast and enjoyed it. A very nice mixture of food andba great view in the dining room. I arrived in the late afternoon and was disappointed that the only meal available was the traditional Japanese buffet for about $100. The nearby restaurant was closed and the only other option was to take the shttlebus back to town and the take a taxi or walk back. I use a cpap machine and was very surprised and a bit annoyed that there was no electrical outlet near the bed. The good far outweighed the bad but there were a couple of places that could use some improvement.

Beautiful property. I loved relaxing in the onsen. The breakfast buffet was yummy. And the hotel staff also helped me recover my coat that I accidentally left in the room! Will definitely book again in the future.

Lovely hotel with very nice gardens, and stunning views of Mount Fuji from the 6th floor panoramic lounge. A little out of Kawaguchiko but a regular hotel shuttle is provided. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting this area.

We stayed at this hotel on our way from Tokyo to Kyoto, stopping at Lake Kawaguchiko to see Mt. Fuji. The hotel was great — free shuttle to and from the bus station (which allows you access around the lake), clean, very friendly staff, and, most importantly, absolutely stunning views of the mountain (if you book a room with a mountain view). Perfect for the price point. Would recommend!

We were able to stay in a Fuji view room. And WOW really worth it. We had clear blue skies with direct views of Mt Fuji. It was lovely waking up to views of Mt Fuji. The hotel is older and has an older feel to it- bathrooms etc. Our room was spacious, with a sofa. The location was great - very near the lake and a short drive into town. We enjoyed our stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fuji View Hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations in every way. First and foremost, cleanliness is a top priority for me when it comes to accommodations, and this hotel did not disappoint. The room was immaculate, and the attention to detail in housekeeping was evident. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay, knowing that the room was well-maintained.. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional breakfast offered by the hotel. The selection was varied and delicious, catering to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. The dining area was well-maintained, and the service was attentive, ensuring that every guest had a great start to their day. Whether you prefer a hearty breakfast or a lighter option, you'd find something to enjoy. Lastly, the overall experience was one of sheer enjoyment. The staff was courteous and accommodating, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. From check-in to check-out, I felt like a valued guest, and that truly added to my overall satisfaction with my stay. In summary, my stay at Fuji View Hotel was exceptional. The cleanliness and the delectable breakfast made my visit memorable. We had such a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji from our room. Loved the public bath as well. There were so many amenities and services in the hotel you can easily spend a day just inside. Only feedback is for the air-conditioning to be a bit cooler. We had already set it to its coolest setting, but it was still very warm in our room.

Nice hotel on a dead end road across the street from the lake. Very nice gardens for strolling and smelling the flowers. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had many options. Free shuttle bus to the train station. No shops or restaurants within walking distance but we had a car so that wasn't a problem for us. They have bicycles available for guests which we would have used if we had stayed longer. Staff was friendly.

Got a room with a lake view, but it was amaising and hypnotizing (we had foggy weather). The room was very big and comfortable (but twin beds, not one queen, which could have made the experience even better). The Onsen was great, and breakfast was superb!

The hotel is a bit dated but in good condition. The grounds are beautiful with great view of Mt Fuji, if the weather cooperates. Dining options in the hotel are limited and those in the area are some distance away, not really walking distance, especially at night. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shuttle service is dependable and convenient, although limited.

Was an excellent stay. The rooms were very spacious, although bathrooms in a plastic moulded shell let it down a little. Service and staff were superb. The onsen was amazing. Breakfast options were quite limited . The Japanese dinner was excellent, a little overpriced possibly but expected given the resort status and few other eating options close by.
