Feb 25, 2020Chose this hotel because we were attending a club volleyball tournament at Kutztown University. It was a 15-20 minute ride to campus; but very quiet, easy to navigate and overall a very kid-friendly location.

Lovely hotel - with lapses in customer service!
"The Glasbern was great - a lovely, non-chain hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, easy-to-find, and reasonably priced. I would happily stay here again. The only issue was the service. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to check me in for about 10 minutes - annoying and unprofessional. ..."

"Clean comfortable apartment. Great WiFi and TV streaming accessible. Kitchen just lacked a couple of minor cooking tools but was able to improvise. Clean laundry room and elevators were helpful for groceries and luggage. Instantaneous response for all my questions."

Mar 30, 2019I was up in the area for a family funeral. We really didn't have time to go visit and sites. I was busy getting together with family during this time. That was the most important and only reason i was there. Hawthorn staff was Great!
