"The apartment is large, clean, and very bright. It is well furnished with two large bathrooms. The trek to the second floor (third, if you are used to US floor numbering) is relatively easy. No elevator. There are restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries all thru the neighborhood. Easy walk to the popular sites and to the rail station, if you plan day trips to other cities. Marissa, the host, is helpful and responds quickly to questions. Highly recommend."

"A fabulous location, one street back from the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is located in small arcade so there are secure gates at each end, which is good at night for security. The address is slightly obscure, our taxi driver, pointed into the arcade and said it is down there. However, the owner, Gianni, was on hand to greet us and let us into the apartment. "Host Marusca gave us everything we needed for a great stay! The apartment was clean, updated and perfect for our needs. The location is excellent, right near the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, with a great view. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, except for the Santa Maria Novella Station (when we left to take the train to Rome). The location is great and within walking distance of anything you might want to see or do. Communication with the host was exceptional and they were always quick to respond. "It was a perfect location overlooking the river. Nice accommodations and host was helpful in showing us each room. Two things to be aware of…We thought someone would be waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived, as mentioned in our instructions, but instead we had to call and then wait for them to come. Also, the music and voices coming from Ponte Vecchio were wonderful in the evenings but the bedrooms face a noisy street. Consider bringing a white noise machine!"
