Caution
The place was filthy. Thick dust lining the pipes and light fixtures, walls dirty (especially the wall behind the bed covered with smashed mosquito guts), the kitchen cabinets filthy and refrigerator and bathroom just gross. Room is cold, and stinks of the smell of gas and mold/cellar smell. I spent $30 on cleaning products and had to clean just to feel able to touch the door knobs, sink, etc. The card with information about the rental was filthy and the information about WiFi was wrong. At check in, waited in cold for guy to arrive (late) and check me in. I had to provide credit card for “cleaning fee” of appx $80 to a guy who called it in to someone by phone and one day later my credit card was compromised and traced back to Moscow-based website. The bed consisted of two thin mattresses which separated during sleep. The only thing that was good was that the linens and duvet seemed freshly laundered. I pre-paid the non-refundable stay but wound up staying at another place down the street. The hallway was pitch black and when locking door to leave at night, need to walk in dark to put light on in hallway and door locked behind me. Called to get let back in and young guy from African country came by to “break me back in”. Guy was very sweet and tried very hard but he needed another guy to come and break in using different method who said he is “friends w the owner”. Every thing seemed shady from start to finish.
