Feels like Italy! Come to VILLA ESCONDIDO and get away from it all at this one of a kind gated hilltop estate. Secluded -- yet minutes from downtown Escondido and major highways. The 750 sq ft spacious apartment is attached to the owner’s home-a Mediterranean Architecture Villa. The suite is completely private, free WiFi and cable. Private entrance, parking. Outdoor grill. One BR 1 BA with queen bed and fold out ottoman sleeper. Walk in closet. Huge bathroom and entertainment area with spacious couch, 2 recliners and large flat screen TV. Google Home mini, computer and printer. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee and drip coffee makers. Beautiful custom cabinets and slate floor.
If you don't feel like cooking, Escondido is home to many fine restaurants, outstanding breweries, and wineries within a few miles.
Step through the French doors of your suite and relax by the pool, taking in the beautiful views of the native vegetation and the Escondido hills. Listen to the birds or, if you prefer, the outdoor speaker system. Enjoy the serenity of this hide-away estate while knowing that you have easy access to all the major Southern California destinations!

A wonderful environment with great hosts!
We were three adults. We highly recommend this location because: 1. Great hosts. 2. The location is convenient for anything in Escondido and North San Diego County. 3. The room is spacious and extremely well stocked. You will not want for anything for your stay. 4. The property is beautiful, quiet, private and in a spectular setting with a wonderfully clean pool and perfectly maintained landscaping. 5. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee by the pool, tai chi practice by the pool and the outdoor television by our door. This is an outstanding property with perfect hosts!

Beautiful property with a lovely outdoor area. We had a wonderful time over all and would recommend this with the following considerations / things id rather have known ahead of time: that the pool and patio areas are on camera. Also if you're a night owl, you may need to let the hosts know because they turn off all outdoor lights at 1am. **There is also additional charges for heating up the hot tub per each use.

We had a wonderful time in Escondido. The little villa was the perfect relaxing place after our busy week. We recommend Swami’s for breakfast and check out Stone Brewery for dinner. The animal safari park was a nice place to visit. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Perfect location and accommodations! Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Julia was generous and attentive. Clear instructions and helpful information for our stay. We ended our California vacation at this lovely villa. It's located right next to the pool, which is large and inviting. The villa is part of a magnificent home. The villa has a combination bedroom/living room/kitchen. The bathroom was a plus. It was really two rooms, one with a shower, sink, and vanity, another with a tub, sink, and vanity. We were comfortable, and it was a great value. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to return.

Just wow is all I can say. I am so happy to have discovered Villa Escondido. It is truly one of the most restful, restorative and lovely VRBOs I've been in. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped villa/casita with everything you'll need. The grounds are spectacular and the pool is a dream; I swam in it every morning and evening during my stay. It is as beautiful as it looks. Julia is a great host, very communicative and friendly. I travel a lot to North County to visit family and I'll never stay anywhere else!

First Birthday Weekend
We were able to snag this gem to join in celebrating a girlfriend’s kiddos first birthday. This stay was one of our best. The property is pristine, private and had everything we could have needed. Bed and futon were melt worthy. The bathroom had ample space for two gals. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the randoms. Our hosts immediately responded to questions, though we needed for nothing. Cannot wait to return!!

Hands down this was the BEST place to stay in Escondido. It’s beautiful and relaxing! Julia, Robert, & their daughter Niko (and pup Ignacio) were FANTASTIC hosts. They give you lots of privacy, and are also available anytime you need them. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely Escondido Villa
I wanted a quiet getaway in the San Diego area to act as a homebase for several trips that I planned to take in the general area. I'm glad I chose this location, it was extremely comfortable and the host provided a wonderful assortment of amenities.
