The owner was there during periods of stay fixing all deficiencies. The heat water is not working, when we got there, no water in the bathroom, no internet for the whole stay, he did not fix everything ahead of time, the stove was fixed late, the pool heater is not working, All furnitures are dusty, lights outside should be fixed. No bags in the garbage bin. Not recommended.

Spacious Space!
Staying at this property was a success. The house was big and welcoming and the backyard was a great space for me and my guests to enjoy each other's company. If you are looking to host a large group, you will definitely benefit from staying at this property. All in all, this house is nice, workable, a good time!

1. Checkin instructions and code was wrong. 2. No internet. Wifi down.there was no network there so we werent able to get through vrbo or host 3.listing says property sleeps 20. It actually sleeps only 14. 6 of our memebrs had to adjust on the couch and some slept on the floor 4.no extra beddings were provided. 5. The place is very dusty, dirty and not well maintained. 6.The kitchen was dirty with some dirty dishes. Fridge smelled and had stale food which we tossed out. 7. Day 2- the host bought us 2 blankets and insisted the property sleeps 20. The beds are twin size some double and 1 king. 8. VRBO customer service is the worst. They didnt help and couldnt refund us. They insusted we should have called during the stay and cant do anything after the stay is over. 9. Never booking with vrbo again. Rip off.

Great place for large group!
Really enjoyed our stay here. The pool and back yard were big pluses and the others actives were great for our youth students. It was a little hot without A/C and humid which was a surprise and made it a little hard to sleep at night. However, the overall experience was great!

Overall good!
Older place with some electrical issues and spotty phone service, but otherwise good. Great vack yard with lots of space, nice pool and outside kitchen. Inside kitchen old but functional with lots of pans, dishes, etc. Place is out by itself, so private but a bit of a haul. Didn't get the $500 off promotion.

Such a beautiful spot, but some things didn't work, the property needs some landscaping attention (like giant palm trees that are in bad need of trimming), there wasn't enough toilet paper, and the kitchen was lacking a few basic items (like decent knives & enough flatware).

Awesome stay at Villa Rancho San Pasqual
We hosted our son’s 3rd birthday party at Villa Rancho San Pasqual and everybody had such a great time. All our guests keep raving about how beautiful the property is. Akdo we booked Joe for the pizza show and he made delicious pizza (some of our guests were from Italy and they said it reminded them home, this is how yummy the pizzas were) highly recommend booking this property for any event (wedding, birthday…) or just for the weekend, you will not regret it!!

Beautiful Property- Perfect For Small Wedding
This property was exactly what we dreamed of for our wedding. The beautiful backyard was the perfect background to our ceremony of 50 guests. The pool provided fun during downtime, the home itself is spacious and the location felt tucked away. Joseph helped us with the music and sprinkler system personally and made sure we were setup for success for our big day. Highly recommend for a smaller wedding getaway on a budget.

EXTREMELY INACCURATE LISTING AND SCARY OWNER
Potential renters beware!!! This VRBO listing is not accurate. The house is filthy - sheets were clean but there is dirt, dust and cobwebs everywhere. Property is not well kept. It is very old and straight up creepy. The property description states that this property has air conditioning. THIS IS A FALSE STATEMENT. What the owner lists as AC is really only one tiny mobile AC unit in the living room that does not even blow out cool air. Standing floor fans covered by dust are placed all over the house but only serve to blow hot air around. We bought a thermometer to read temp in house which was 85 degrees in the morning. Electrical wiring is obviously not up to code. All the fans plugged in everywhere cause the breaker switches to flip repeatedly and make a loud popping noise and spark. Owner claimed this happened because the mobile AC unit was plugged into the wrong outlet. Owner was very rude and threatening when we contacted him about these concerns. He denies all claims that house is hot or that there are electrical wiring issues. All he says repeatedly over and over is "The house remains cool when warm outside and warm when cool outside." He cites the adobe construction as what provides a comfortable temp in the house. We rented the first week in August, and it was warm outside making the house temperature unbearable, especially when trying to sleep at night. We contacted VRBO and they advised us to leave the property, and we found another rental property to finish the remainder of our vacation. The owner then proceeded to spew lies and charged our account with unsubstantiated additional charges because we obviously made him angry by contacting VRBO with our complaints and concerns. Owner originally stated that he would offer a partial refund, but this never happened. This man is not stable, and we no longer felt safe staying in his property or even having direct contact with him. We will be filing a formal complaint to launch an investigation into the inaccuracy of his property listing. We realize that we are not going to recoup the money for this rental as VRBO cannot force a property owner to provide a refund, but we do hope to help another family, group, etc. from renting this property and going through a nightmare of an experience. We kept record of all conversations with this owner and VRBO as well as videos and photos documenting supporting our claim.

Great place for our bachelorette
I stayed here with some friends and family for my sister’s bachelorette weekend and had an amazing time. There were some cobwebs here and there, but I think it’s just the fact that it’s out in the country and the bugs there work fast. The house itself is beautiful and comfy. There’s no AC so just a heads up you might want to spend the day in the pool to stay cool, but there are fans everywhere and a unit in the living room :) would definitlry stay here again

Fabulous place for a fun weekend
We had a fantastic weekend with the family by the pool. Great space. Definitely recommend it. One suggestion: clear out the spider webs all around the house. After guests have your cleanup crew hose the outside of the house down. Easy & makes a huge difference.

Private secluded adobe home
We thoroughly enjoyed the facility and pool. The accommodations fit our whole group of 12 adults. I highly recommend that the stove get replaced before the next guests, only two small burners worked but were not adequate for cooking for the group. We all fit very comfortably in the living room and covered patio. PS, the house does not have A/C, only fans but we spent the entire daytime at the pool.

The location was great, nice pool and outdoor area. No ac, only fans available. Only 2 burners worked in kitchen. No trash bags were provided for us to us had to buy our own. Found dead rat in one of the bedrooms, tooks pictures-of it. Room stunk because of it. Called and messaged host twice no response. Lots of spider webs in room and through out the house. House had potential but would not stay here again at all.

Dishonest listing and dishonest owner
We booked this location for our family during our wedding weekend. Upon check-in we immediately noticed the house was not clean, certainly not up to the standards required for COVID (we tried to use this place in October of 2021). We immediately let the owner know we weren’t comfortable staying here as we had both infants and elderly family who didn’t feel safe. The owner refused to accommodate, admitted he had other guests in the property before properly sanitizing for COVID protocols, and kept all of our money even though no one spent more than 5 minutes on the property. Potential renter beware - You can find a better property with a better person to deal with and probably should. This dude ruined our wedding.

Awesome Location For Your Party Event
I just had a 100+ person wedding at this venue over the weekend and heard nothing but positive feedback all around. Spacious property that allowed the entire wedding party and family stay together under one roof! It was a great experience and great communication with the owner. Would certainly recommend!

Great for entertaining
The house is very spacious and great for entertaining. All the kids in our party had a blast and the men really enjoyed the covered patio/ grill area. They were able to hang out outside and watch tv. The house itself could use some maintenance but it was perfect for what we wanted. It also had a lot of cobwebs, the house wasn’t dirty but it did feel a little dusty. None of us had phone signal at the house and the wifi wasn’t very reliable but we all enjoyed the break from our phones and welcomed it. We loved how big the backyard was and you the surrounding area is so beautiful. Our kids had a blast playing outside.
