"Sugar Shack is ideally located within steps to either the Gulf or Lemon Bay so sun rises and sunsets are incredible. One could be swimming with manatees or kayaking with dolphins. All amenities are provided so you just need your clothes and toothbrush practically. Great restaurants within walking distance. Yoga on the beach daily. Bikes are provided too. Our family of 4 had the best time. This place is 5 stars!!!!"

"We booked last minute for a beach getaway on our anniversary. The unit is a little dated but very clean and well kept. It is right on the beach but the unit faces the street. There is a small porch on the side with a beach view. The location is great and only a short walk to Stump Pass Beach State Park. Overall we had a great stay here."

"We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. Honestly, it was nicer than the pictures portrayed, and the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and close to the beach, which had private access about 8 doors down. We found lots of small sharks teeth - a first for us! We would recommend!"

"My wife and I recently spent 14 days on Manasota key and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was plenty big enough with a large Master Bedroom/Bathroom. There is a second good size bedroom and a small second bathroom. The unit is on the second floor so have to bring your luggage up a flight of stairs We cooked a lot of our meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The appliances look pretty new. There is a large refrigerator, large range/oven and dishwasher. There is also a clothes washer/dryer shared by 4 of the units. We really enjoyed the area. Manasota Key was very nice, no multi-lane roads or large high rise condo complexes. This unit is in a small condo complex with 8 units. There are some bigger complexes in the area, but none are more than 3 stories. The unit is a 2 minute walk to the beach. Stump Pass Beach State Park is a 10 – 15 minute walk from the condo. It’s a beautiful beach without any houses or condos on it. The parking lot fills quickly so it was nice to be able to walk. A 15 – 20 minute walk in the other direction are a number of restaurants and bars. There is also a shuttle service that we didn’t use as we walked to dinner. A short drive over the bridge you can find grocery stores, other restaurants and pretty much anything you need. The owner Scott, was very responsive and provided all our access info well before our arrival. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quieter setting."
