Adorable, walkable tiny home

Loved the tiny home! Despite smaller size it was very well stocked and clean. Really had no issues at all. The outside patio area was private, cute and clean. Also was walkable to restaurants and bars, and even the beach. There’s a cute park nearby as well.

Hidden Gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This "tiny" home offered plenty and then some! The indoor space was pristine and cozy, complemented by a beautiful and spacious outdoor retreat. We also appreciated the decor with thoughtful pieces spread throughout the property. To top it off, the owners (Marianne & Doug) were friendly, responsive, and easy-going. Without a doubt, would stay here again!

Cutest Tiny House

We loved our stay. The house is brand new, super cute, with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. We walked to the beach and downtown every day. There is even a park next door with pickle ball. The hosts have thought of everything - we would gladly stay there again.

The most perfect getaway

Tiny house was absolutely perfect, Marianne and Douglas gave us the ability to drop our bags before official check in which was so helpful! The house itself was incredibly clean and had anything you could want, the outside area was our favorite part to sit and have a drink before we made our way downtown which was only a short walking distance, we utilized the bikes to get to the beach as well! The city itself was so beautiful we can’t wait to go back

Encinitas Hideaway

We’re a young couple in our 60s and we surely enjoyed our stay at the tiny house short bike ride to everywhere up and down highway 101. The host Doug was very pleasant. Always asked if we needed anything. You gotta stay here, and see it to believe it for yourself. I’ll definitely be back.

Perfection

We absolutely loved this place! It was our first experience in a tiny home, and it exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, had everything we needed, and you can’t beat the location. It’s a short walk to downtown, the beach, or just stay in and enjoy the outdoor area of the home. They have truly created a wonderful retreat for guests. We are moving to Encinitas soon, and we already said we’d still go back when we need a staycation without the kids! Thanks again for a great stay! Best VRBO experience we’ve had.

Lovely little place

The tiny home is a wonderful place! The attention to detail and the layout of the house were amazing. Every space within the home is expertly designed for storage, bedding, etc and the outside area with chairs, firepit, table/umbrella make this a very enjoyable place to stay. The home is within a 10 minute walk to downtown Encinitas and moonlight beach. There is also a nice park with pickleball courts with a two minute walk. Doug and Marianne are very nice and interesting to talk with. We will definitely stay here again when our travels take us back to the area.

A Piece of Paradise

We expected something nice, we got something astounding. This is an oasis to say the least. The tiny house was a perfect house so well planned and decorated and we miss it already. The outside area is gorgeous and so private with all that the website said and more. Doug and Marianne are awesome and included so much to make your stay one to remember and repeat. You will want them for friends. We tried, and could think of NOTHING they missed. If you stay here, you won't be sorry!

Cozy oasis

This tiny home is a wonder. We’ve never stayed in a tiny home so this was a new experience - we were fascinated by all the space saving measures (eg murphy bed style ironing board behind bathroom mirror). The landscaping outside is wonderful: spacious and comfortable with entertaining features including a putting green, water feature, table fire pit, and grill. We are 2 middle age women who were comfortable staying for 4 nights. Easy 10-15 min walk to beach and strip. Hosts were responsive and friendly, not intrusive. Clearly a lot of thought has been put into making this place comfortable, clean and easy.

Anniversary Staycation Repeat

We had such a wonderful time last year celebrating our anniversary at this AMAZING tiny house that we decided to come back again. The house itself is charming and has absolutely everything you need to relax in beautiful surroundings. We love how there is so much to see within walking distance. Fantastic restaurants are only a short walk through the park. The beach is just down the hill. We love roaming through the rock garden. Doug and Marianne give the best restaurant recommendations and their book is well laid out. My husband and I have discovered that we are now spoiled by staying at their tiny house because no other place is as clean or as organized. Even a year later everything still appears brand new! We adore the hosts and their Tiny Home!!

Have to come back

We have nothing negative to say. Can't wait to go back. Very peaceful, surrounded by trees, a window where you can see the sunset in this month of Sept that we were there, beautiful Hawks come visit in the trees for a bit. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast outside in the am. Everything is close by at walking distance. Just amazing! This Tiny Home is perfect please if you stay here take care of it and be mindful of people coming back which may be you and just like I pick up after myself and am mindful that you may be back BE mindful that I will be back. Also owners can refuse in allowing someone to rent again if you leave it looking like you had no care whatsoever in how you left it. 🥰

Perfection

Have you ever had a short-term stay where it seemed the property had no personal touches and was filled with second-hand cast-offs? THIS IS NOT THAT TYPE OF PLACE. Everything (and I mean everything) had been thought of in this wonderfully charming tiny home. From a well-stocked kitchen to the softest sheets you can imagine, this home if filled with things both practical (a washer and dryer!) and charming (loads of fun and unique decorations). But as wonderful as the home is, the outdoor spaces are even better. A firepit, putting green, bikes, cornhole, beach items... you name it, and they've provided it. The owners live in a home on the same property but our stay always felt incredibly private. And of course, just blocks from Moonlight Beach! Don't miss the opportunity to stay in this lovely, unique, charming tiny home. It's truly a gem.

Read the fine print!

Overall, nice place. We were excited to stay there. My family and I were asked to leave the property when the owners learned we had our children with us. I have seen Adults Only resorts advertised on vrbo and it's usually one of the main and repeated comments in the rental description, but I have never seen a house say no children. You will see a section with "Top family friendly amenities" (toys/games) but no where in the description did it mention children. If you dig deeper, one of the bullet points in the fine print says "adults only" and no "visiting" children, but that is it. We had to pack up and find a hotel. I wish the policy was more clearly stated in the description to avoid the hassle we experienced. We stayed one night - host kept 2/3 of payment.

Welcoming and walkable!

Best Vrbo/rental we've ever stayed at!

Such a great stay! The hosts down to each granular detail had such intention and heart. My boyfriend and I wanted to do a local vacation for his birthday and this property was beyond expectation. Close to the strip, grocery stores, parks, beaches, surf spots just a great stay-in place with a covered fire pit. It rained while we were there sadly but it was such a perfect and cozy spot even on the rainy days. So grateful for the hosts - thank you so much! God bless!
