Most of the staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, no turn down service, not the end of the world, but for the cost, expected. The amenities offered were a very nice touch, and the gentleman who assisted with the bike and board rentals was wonderful.
Food service is the area that is below standards and needs to be addressed. We had cocktails upon arrival and dined at both restaurants during our stay. The food was less than stellar, the staff was kind but considering we were one of two or three guests, the servers were inattentive, service was slow,(they seemed to be carrying out personal business..yes we could hear the personal conversations being addressed on the phone and with others while guest service was being neglected).
You have a beautiful location and could really make this resort a go-to destination. However, some of the most basic hospitality skills have seriously missed the mark. Our comments are honest, not meant to be cruel. Moving forward, we hope the areas we feel are deficient will be addressed and improved.
