This was a special birthday celebration and we were delighted to be given an upgrade to the room we had booked as well as some lovely treats. Numerous added touches that made the stay especially memorable — Christmas morning “stocking” filled with fruit, nuts and tea canister’” traditional Scottish food menu items along with many other choices, excellent housekeeping service (phone charger cords neatly tied up with a hotel tie), lovely afternoon tea and Christmas dinner. The location of The Balmoral Hotel is excellent. We used the valet service for parking and this worked very well for our short stay. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping deserves a special mention as the room was spotless with a daily service and then a turn down service in the evening. We will definitely be returning to this amazing hotel.
