This hotel was easy to find using public transportation. We arrived in the morning and were able to drop off our bags at the front desk until our room was ready. We returned closer to check in time and were told our room wasn't ready (it would have overlooked the church across the street), but if we wanted a "garden view room" we could check in immediately. I said yes for sure the garden view I assumed would be more quiet than over the street.
The room was nice and had plenty of room for our bags, us etc to relax. The view was awful. It overlooked a parking and unloading area where the dumpsters were located. It also faced directly to a residence building which meant when the curtains were open they could also see us as clearly as we could see them. The unloading area was loudest early in the morning and late at night when they were dumping or picking up trash or dropping off items.
Other than the view this room was very nice. It did not have a hairdryer which I realized only after I washed my hair. Not a big deal as I had time to let it air dry to fix.
The bed was very comfortable. We were only there for one night before moving on to another town.
We did visit the bar on our only night and the staff there was extremely nice. We had breakfast in the restaurant on our way out of town and it was served self serve buffet style. It was very good as well.
If we had a different view I would rate this hotel 4 stars. Everything else was just great.
