We chose a cava suite at Thymus for 3 nights. Simply had to have one of the former cave rooms if you’re going to Matera! Such a different experience to staying in a regular room. "Nice boutique hotel in great location between train station and old town. Very easy check in even though we were a little late. Plenty of restaurants around hotel. Need to look for address numbers when following google maps to hotel. It takes you a couple of blocks past. Would definitely stay here again when in Bari. "
